Our New Home

On March 21st, 2002 we all moved into our new home at  Lake Wenatchee YMCA Camp .  Over the previous two days the Cascades were hit with a spring snow storm dumping over 24" of snow on camp in 48 hours.  Steven's Pass was Closed so we had to travel an extra 200 miles and go down and around through Snoqualmie and Blewitt passes.  We are loving our new home and the change in scenery.  Here are some pictures of our new home.  Enjoy

Wow just about sums it up.  Our camp cook say the views alone a worth $5.00 per hour.  This is Dirty Face Mountain.  Named after a miner who lived here for years and always had a "dirty face".  This is standing on our beach looking Northeast.

Again WOW!  Paste these two pictures side by side and you'll have a panoramic view of the Lake.

This Picture was taken During Our 2002 Summer Camp Staff Training.  We camped our at Glaicer View Campground.
