Bussing 8000 S13:
a new chassis..and other modifications
A different approach to the theme 'Bussing'.Instead of the Veroma chassis, I'm using here a hand made messing chassis with a complete Wedico Drive Kit installed. With this heavy chassis and the 12V buhler motor, this Bussing truck must have better power and traction. The original Veroma cab is slightly modified (cutting away part of the firewall) to fit the 12V Buhler motor. Standard wedico gearbox (art. 116) take places inside the cab; I believe one can also use a 3 speed gearbox with some modifications, meanwhile the twin motor with coupler gearbox seems to be not suitable due to the large mudguards and tight hood.

Actually I will have to find a place for the Wedico speedregler (originally fitted inside the fuel tank) and for the 12V battery. So, if you need a standard Veroma Bussing chassis, call me...

Un differente approccio al tema 'Bussing': al posto del telaio standard della Veroma vediamo qui un telaio autocostruito in ottone. Vantaggi: maggior peso e motorizzazione Wedico 12V significano migliore trazione. Inconvenienti: non ho ancora trovato il posto per il regolatore di velocita' e per le ingombranti batterie a 12V. La cabina Veroma è stata modificata (taglio della parete parafiamme) per dare spazio al motore Buhler..

Trilex messing wheels with ball bearings and Continental (size 295/80 R22.5) old design tires
Wedico aluminium front axle (art. 701) and suspensions leafs.
I have to cut away part of the Cab firewall to fit the Buhler motor.
