1:16 scale models are often expensives. But there are interesting unexpensives models made by toy manufacturers like Bruder, Dickie, New Bright Toys or Nikko: more or less in the right scale, they are suitable for loading trucks trailers - like this Nikko escavator shown on the right- or even to build a full R/C model .The two Actros four axles trucks (Beton mixer and kipper) are available in the Bruder's Profi series and could nicely fit Tamiya or Wedico motorized chassis with minor modifications.Toys trucks can also provide useful accessories for the 1:16 models such air filters, battery boxes, cabin seats and other small parts. La scala 1:16 potrebbe avere un difetto: il costo dei modelli...per fortuna ci sono in giro molti giocattoli in questa scala dai prezzi assolutamente abbordabili. Bruder, Nikko e Dickie per esempio , hanno in catalogo molti mezzi che si prestano ad essere trasformati in modelli radiocomandati: i due Actros (betoniera e cassone ribaltabile a 4 assi) che vedete qui illustrati fanno parte della serie 'Profi' e hanno un costo intorno alle 60.000 lire. Possono essere montati su un telaio Tamyia o Wedico ottenendo un modello radiocomandabile economico e robusto.
