Aya Brea, NYPD. Age: 25 / Height: 5'3" / Weight: 106 lbs.

The main character and only character who the player controls. She is a rookie cop with NYPD who has not proven herself on the field or developed true police officer instincts. Aya lost her mother and sister at a young age to a tragic car accident. While her father raised her parts of the way, she spent much of her life in foster care, which explains why she's so tough. She has a mysterious connection to Melissa Pearce, and seems to be the only person who Melissa, otherwise known as 'Eve' cannot harm.

 

Melissa Pearce (Eve), Actress. Age: 32 / Height: 5'11" / Weight: 114 lbs.

Melissa Pearce is the main antagonist of the game. She started out kind enough, but a tragic car accident changed her life forever. In order to save her life, she required an organ transplant. However, the organ she received had special mitochondria evolutionary powers, which eventually took control over Melissa's physical body, killed the host, and became known as 'Parasite Eve'.

 

Daniel 'Bo' Dollis, NYPD. Age: 42 / Height: 5'11" / Weight: 209 lbs.

Detective Dollis is Aya Brea's partner. He is a seasoned member of the force, and is more determined to work his hardest now that he has a rookie cop under his belt. He is seriously over-protective of Aya, and will even go as far as punching a reporter on live national television to keep her safe. After a rough divorce (which was due to his over-dedication to his job) Daniel fought for custody of his son, Ben, and won. Unfortunately, due to his career, he rarely has any time to spend with him.

 

Kunihiko Maeda, Scientist. Age: 35 / Height: 5'7" / Weight: 115 lbs.

Maeda is a Japanese Scientist who has studied Eve's previous attacks in Japan. The second he heard of the incidents in New York, he flew over to the States to provide whatever help he could in stopping Eve from ever striking again. In the long run, he is extremely useful, as his skills in the field of science prove to help Aya discover more about herself and fight off the legions of dark armies within the 'City That Never Sleeps'. Oh, and he has a slight, 'interest', in Aya's looks...

 

Dr. Hans Klamp, Scientist. Age: 37 / Height: 5'7" / Weight: 141 lbs.

Dr. Hans Klamp is an ex-medical doctor turned Biologist. He was fired from his career as a doctor because he illegally handed out key HLA lists to the public. Now, he spends all of his time (literally, ALL) locked away in the Museum of Natural History, discovering what there is to discover of Mitochondria. However, there is more to this doctor than meets the eye. He is withholding serious information about Eve (suspect?), and is somehow linked to Aya in a twisted, mysterious way.

 

Douglas Baker, NYPD. Age: 41 / Height: 5'7" / Weight: 243 lbs.

Captain Baker and Daniel Dollis have been friends since they joined the force a decade and a half earlier. However, because of Daniel Dollis's will to remain a field officer, he remained there and Baker was promoted to Captain. Now, he has become a hard, tough leader of the NYPD's 17th Precinct, who seems more bent up on promotion than his boys in the field...

 

Wayne Garcia, NYPD. Age: 27 / Height: 5'7" / Weight: 148 lbs.

Wayne Garcia is a young cop who knows his guns. A serious collector of Gun Trading Cards, he can provide you with one of the best items of the game if you can find for him the 14 rarest of them all. Wayne is also useful because he can custom make high-powered weapons for you, provided that you supply him with the proper material. He takes over for Torres as Gun Modifier after an incident, and is also in charge of the Weapon Storage.

 

Torres Owens, NYPD. Age: 48 / Height: 5'3" / Weight: 137 lbs.

Torres was once a passionate cop who loved to fire his pistol as much as the next man. This all changed on one tragic day when his daughter was killed when a gun accidentally went off. Feeling something must be done to change this situation, he vowed never to fire again and transferred to the Weapon Department of the station. Now, he is responsible for Weapon Tune-Ups and also for keeping an eye on Wayne Garcia, who in most respects, is the total opposite of himself.

 

Ben Dollis, Daniel's Kid. Age: 8 / Height: 3'11" / Weight: 71 lbs.

Ben is Daniel Dollis's child, whom Dan fought for custody of after his divorce. Always looking for a way to get his dad's attention, Ben is also looking for a way to bring his family back together again. He hangs out at the Police Station and even befriended Sheeva, a police dog that was Captain Baker's when Baker was just a rookie.

Mariko Brea:  Aya Brea's mother who died in a car crash.

Maya Brea: Aya Brea's sister who died in a car crash. Maya may be the key to discovering more of Aya's past, because there is more to her than just a name...

Lorraine Dollis: Dan Dollis' ex-wife

Detective Nix, NYPD: Joined the force at the same time as Captain Baker and Daniel Dollis. A very seasoned cop who is willing to believe anything, as long as there is proof.

Detective Warner, NYPD: A younger cop, who doesn't believe in superstition and is very hard to convince of anything.

Officer Cathy: The 'tour-guide' of the station. She helps you find where you need to go and keeps an eye out on visitors (more specifically, Ben Dollis).
