This is the world of WHFB (Warhammer Fantasy Battles). Below, you will find links to information on the various races, game aids, and tactical advice.

Other than the basic boxed set, there are supplements to help make the game richer and more diverse. (Click on the image of the army list books to learn a little more about them. Clicking on the Dark Elf book will take you to the dark elf page.)

Just as each race has its own "flavor", each has its own strengths and weaknesses. Before choosing an army to command, you should decide if it fits your own style of play. For instance, if you favor knights in shining armor, riding proudly across the field of battle, you are much better off playing Brettonia, Empire, or Elves and not Dwarves or Skaven. On the other hand, if you already possess an army or two of your own, you should know not only the highs and lows of your own army, but that of the army you will face.

In addition to tactical advice, a WHFB FAQ has been gathered that provides answers to many of the common questions that tend to arise during a game of WHFB. The questions were submitted to Games Workshop-UK and answered by the "Primarchs", consisting of game designers Andy Chambers, Jervis Johnson, and Rick Priestly.
