Kevin and Kell by Bill Holbrook
The granddaddy of all anthropromorphic romps. This strip concerns a parallel earth where all types of animals have evolved and have lives fairly similar to our own. The interactions between the various species brings a fresh perspective to many of the events in our own world. Quite amusing with a fair dose of computer humor thrown in. A Sprite comic. Yet an animated one. With original games and concepts. From the characters point of view within a computer world. Quite unique and worth a look. A nice medieval fantasy comic. The usual roles are filled- mage, fighter, cleric, rogue and paladin. Very clean, comic page style drawings. I've been patiently trudging through the archives of this one and I like what I'm seeing. It's a manga-style comic that reports the misadventures of an otaku and a gamer's gamer and their misadventures in Japan. The rants at the bottom of each comic are worth the price of admission alone. An anthropromorphic comic concerning the cast of a news station. Well developed characters and a forum that allows the author to regularly comment on the world at large. Enjoyable. This is an excellent series. It has to do with a young girl and her muses, and their journey of self discovery and acceptance. It doesn't necessitate a psychology degree to appreciate it, but it certainly doesn't hurt. The Maslow reference was worth the price of admission alone. Highly recommended! |
