My goodness, it's been a long time since I could sit and update these pages. I am so thrilled to finally be tinkering with my pictures and graphics again. I really do love making all this stuff, and I am very blessed to have the time and means necessary to do it.

A few words about what's here and what isn't...All of the monthly pages are updated with development information and new pictures. I was keeping a journal all along, but I had to wait for internet connection and time with my computer to put it up for you. It took a while, but it's all here. What is NOT up, yet, is the 12th month photos. Ashley and I have not gotten the film developed from late July and early August, yet. Once I have all that, I'll get it up for you. The video page is also left without any updates. I just got the computer hooked up 4 days ago, so I'm working on it. Please be patient for another week or so on the video. We have some really great stuff from Lizzie's birthday that we'll post, for sure. The "Scanned Photos" page is getting dusty, I know. Ashley and I bought a scanner this week, and I have been scanning away at our piles of paper photos. The "Scanned" page will be updated at the same time as the video page. It's all coming...but it's not up today. *grin*

I know I type this a lot, but I wanted to reiterate my point about screen settings for the viewing of this website. For those of you still using an 800x600 screen resolution, I strongly recommend switching over to 1024x768. It is the most commonly-used screen res setting, and almost all websites are now built to look best at that size. These pages (as well as the old pink ones) will not look the way I intended them to look at 800x600. If you have to scroll horizontally to see everything on these pages, then your monitor is set on too low a resolution for viewing this site the way it was designed. If you want to switch over but don't know how, you can shoot me an email, and I will walk you through it.

Elizabeth's first year has been one of the most tumultuous and, yet, most rewarding I can ever remember. She is amazing, and Ashley and I both comment on how blessed we are to have her just about every day. I hope that this website will help to share a little of what it was like to watch her grow and change from a tiny, helpless infant into the gorgeous little girl she's become.

Keep us in your prayers. You are all in ours,
Amy Nix
