Aaron's GW Rampage

warlord.jpg 42Kb I play a wargaming system developed By Games Workshop originally called Adeptus Titanicus. The people at GW messed about with it and released a new version and called it Space Marine. Then they messed with it some more and tried to call it Space Marine again but insisted that it was not a Version 2 of the old Space Marine game, (apparently calling it Space Marine Version 2 was grounds for dismissal at GW). Then it got buggered about some more and was released as Titan Legions in 1995.
In between these releases came new army lists and boxed sets and figures and rules and additions and... and... and... you can guess what happened next.
The Geniuses at GW have now completely re-written the system to look like a 6mm scale version of their 25mm game Warhammer 40,000 and call it Epic 40,000, (or Epic 40K).
After 6 years of wargaming, thousands and thousands of dollars and more time than I care to to even calculate I have decided to call it quits. Games Workshop have finally managed to convince me that they care not a damn for the people who have consistently supported them in the past.
I have only one word of advice to any one about to buy any Games Workshop product, "DON'T". If your child or a loved one pesters you about buyng anything from Games Workshop, "DON'T". This is a one way street in which all of your hard earned money goes out of your pocket and into one of the many Porche cars that the owner of GW has.
If anyone from Games Workshop happens to read this page and disagrees with my opinions then I have only 2 words to say to you , "Bite Me", (this is a quaint American term I have recently discovered).

As I come across them I will post the little points that wargamers and my self have stumbled across in our dealings with GW.
