Links LS 1998 Edition is a golf game from Access Software that has SVGA graphics and supports Windows compatible sound cards for sound effects.
This game uses a version of the standard triple-click meter to swing the club. You can play stroke, best ball, scramble, alternate shot, match, skins, it lets you practice, and you can even play tournaments.
The front 9 of the Kapalua Bay course is included in this demo. Multiplayer games can be played across a modem, IPX network, TCP/IP network (Internet), or serial connection. They can also be played on one computer in hot-seat fashion. Requires: Pentium 90+, 16MB RAM, DirectX.

There are buttons for sprinting and swerving left and right which are extremely helpful in being able to dodge the opposing players. But you can't sprint indefinitely. As your player gets tired the circle around them continues to dim until its completely dark. When that happens you can't sprint anymore. In this demo you can play a game between the U.S. and Wales until one team scores. Two player games are supported on one computer. Both players can be on the same team and take on the computer, or they can just play each other. Requires: Pentium 90+, 16MB RAM, DirectX 5.0.
