Metal Gear first appeared on the MSX in 1985 and was later converted to the NES platform in 1987. It was one of few to not take the "blast through the level" style of gaming. Instead, the game relied on stealth to get through the game alive. The game was a huge success. However, the second Metal Gear titled "Solid Snake" went barely noticed with few revisions and much of the same as the original. Now, being developed by a totally new developing division of Konami, Metal Gear Solid is set to be Playstation's next big game. Due to be released in the third quarter of this year(I hope), this is one game not to miss!

Finally added some instructions for playing Metal Gear and Solid Snake in the Roms section. This will probably be the last update. I'm leaving for college in a few days and my dorm at Cal Poly Pomona doesn't have internet access. Sorry to disapoint. What's really sad is that I won't be bringing my playstation down with me so now I wont even be able to ever play the game that I paid so much attention to. I guess it's tough shit for me
