Once you have filled out the form you will recieve a SITE ID NUMBER and PERSONALIZED HTML Ring Fragment via E-Mail.

You must have the fragment placed on your site within 3 weeks, or your
site will be Automatically removed from the queue,and you will have to re-apply.

UNLESS YOU ARE USING GEOBUILDER OR SOME OTHER PAGE BUILDER WHICH DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO EDIT THE HTML DIRECTLY: Please download this graphic to the same directory as the page on which it will appear.

THOSE OF YOU USING GEOCITIES GEOBUILDER OR SIMILAR HAVE TWO OPTIONS:

1. (and the one I prefer) View Source in your web browser, select and copy the whole page, and paste it into the Geocities "advanced" editor window. Then you can edit the HTML directly.
Simply paste the code you were emailed at the end of your page, somewhere before the </body> and </html> tags.

2. Either LINK TO or DOWNLOAD ONE of the following graphics and use the following instructions for Geobuilder ONLY. As I'm exposed to other pagebuilding programs, I will attempt to post the instructions here. Anyone may use these versions of the graphics and HTML tag, however only those people who have difficulty placing graphics on their servers may link directly to it.

The 6 links at the bottom are all the same except for the last few words. Replace SITE-ID with the site id you were mailed in your confirmation email. Link these the same way you did before, by highlighting the word and then clicking "Link."

I know that this is terribly inconvenient and difficult for those people who are not accomplished HTML users. Please feel free to email me if you need any help setting up your links. I'll be double-checking your work when I review the page for adding it to the ring.

Once you have placed the HTML Fragment and Graphic on your page, you must fill out the "Add Me!" form. Your site will be reviewed and added to the ring usually within 72 hours.

Your page will be reviewed to make sure it meet the ring standards and make sure the graphic and HTML fragment are on your page correctly.

After I review your page, you should receive an e-mail telling you you've been added.
