Here you can look at all my images rendered in POV-Ray. Most of these scenes where created with the modeller Moray for Windows. Some of the images were post-processed with a 2D-graphics-program, like PSP or APS. At the top are the oldest images, at the bottom the newest. |

"A Mage's Home". A quite good-looking scene with some nice details on the table. Just the hill in the background is a little bit too green... |
A small Mechbase with a few good models, as the MadCat in the background and the gunturrets in the foreground. |
A glass with water, a test of reflection, refraction and similar special effects. Source was published in the CF. |
"Electron" - a small scene for the CF, has a nice focal-blur. |
"Stonehenge" - Another scene which I created for the CF. |
3 Mechs (Cauldron Born, 2x Mad Cat). This scene shows some older 'Mech-models. Especially the Cauldron was revised. |
Fist Of Evil, Scene 2 Here can the hydraulics be seen good. |
Fist Of Evil, Scene 3 Here can be seen the PPC on left shoulder. |
Fist Of Evil, Scene 1 A quite detailed Mech, which I created with SPatch and Moray. Those legs look really good! |
An alien which I designed just for fun, and to test the blob-functions of POV-Ray. |
The planet Jupiter with some klingon warships. Tested the lens-flare plug-in for POV-Ray. |
"Flusslandschaft" - With this scene I tested several things, as heightfields, tree-textures, bumps and sky-textures. |
"Sunset" - A faulty heightfield was made a quite nice scene with the right lightning and a pretty background. |
This rendering was made to test the different atmospheric effects in POV-Ray. |
"Alien World" - The colors are a little unrealistic, but that was intended, it should support the strangeness (more or less... ;-)) |
A combat between two Mechs. Shows a few good light-effects. |
Scorpion-Scene 1 - One of my newest Mech-designs and also one of my best Mech-renderings. For the first time I am using halos. |
A 100-ton Behemoth-Mech. Looks quite OK, especially the fog. Unfortunately the details at the legs are a bit hidden. |
A small space-scene which I created to test the Galaxy-Plug in for POV-Ray. |
And since it is so beautiful, another space-scene. |
Another rendering of a Behemoth, this time a nice focal blur is used. |
Another fight between some Mechs. In the foreground there is a Fist Of Evil which fires its LRM15 on a Behemoth that is in close combat with a Scorpion. |
And now a moderately realistic scene, the creation of a picture with airbrush. The image took about 13 hours to render on my P233MMX with 32MB EDO-Ram. |
And here, after
a long waiting-time, a new 'Mech, a 35ton Omni-'Mech Uller. |
An Uller and a Mad-Cat are in close combat in the background while the Behemoth in the foreground fires its PPC on an invisible enemy. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
