Profile: For a man that is considered to be Vigo Sprax's top agent, a prince of the criminal community and one of the major players in the Vigo War, Torill Hendyker is a strangely unintimidating character. In fact, if he wasn't such a hero, you'd think he'd be a just another cowardly nerfherder.

Torill is, in essence, the anti-Solo. True, he is a scoundrel and an outlaw; he can shoot a cred out of midair, pilot his way through the thickest asteroid belt and has nearly supernatural reflexes. The difference is, Torill knows deep down that doing that kind of stuff is absolutely insane. He hates heroics, because he knows that heroes often wind up floating face-down in the gene pool. He often panics when confronted with situations that any normal Star Wars rogue would shrug off, with often comical, sometimes complicating results. Torill's advantage- and why he is such a valuable agent to Sprax- is that he runs best on adrenaline. Like a small animal, he can be easily pushed into a corner by someone who knows how to block him off... but he'll just respond by biting their finger off.

These tendencies translate into a fairly cowardly attitude for Torill. Though he carries a tremendous weapon (a huge, custom Sentinel V), he usually fires randomly behind him as he tears off at high speed, his ragged trenchcoat flapping behind him like a disheveled crow. He has a trademarked whine, which surfaces when things start going wrong or when he knows it is about to. He has a low pain threshold, a scruffy and thin appearance, and has notoriously bad luck with women. All in all, if it weren't for his mongoose-like reflexes, amiable personality and uncanny sense of oncoming danger, he would have been space pizza on the long road to criminal stardom long ago.

However, Torill is more self-aware than first glance would seem. In the field, Torill is oddly professional about his tasks, at least until the shit begins hit the fan. He is loyal to Sprax for very pragmatic reasons: if he wasn't, Sprax would kill him. He is not particularly ambitious for the same reasons, and because he knows he'd make a lousy Vigo. He has killed many times, but never murdered. He knows when he is beaten, but also when he can turn the tables on his captors. And, every once in a while, something truly heroic surfaces in Hendyker that can stun and amaze those around him and against him. Somewhere beyond the discombobulated and gawky facade lies a true smuggler's mind.

It's just hard to see when he is running so fast.
