GAMES - More games!

A small overview on games

Role Playing Games As a matter of fact, I play a lot of RPG, really... almost everything... I have a binder full of different games character record sheets... but I do have a favourite one, DragonLance Fifth Age! Click on the image to find out more about this epic, card-based game in the TSR Page!

Download my Deities Scheme (6k) of DragonLance!

Pac Man When I attended the High School I used to pass a lot of time in the arcades... needless to say, I love Video Games! My very first computer was a Commodore64, of which I knew almost all the secrets. Now I don't play as much in the arcades, and my favourite CPU games are those Doom-oriented ones,  puzzle ones (to quote few: Myst, 7th Guest, 11th Hour) and F1 simulators. BTW, have you ever finished Doom at Nightmare level? I did... Speaking of arcade, I strongly suggest you to download immediatly the Multi Arcade Machine Emulator (MAME) and feel the joy of living the '80... again! Board Games Definetly my favourites. Let's just say I don't like too static games (à la Civilization...) but more dynamic ones... especially the ones in which you move at the same time, like RoboRally or Blue Max, for example. Axis and Allies, Shogun are also great games, of course! Find more about Formula Dé in this site! By far my favourites are the so-called "german" games: these are made also for non serious gamers, usually involve from 4 to 6 people and have a playtime of about one hour. Strategy is always important, luck factor is very reduced, but most of all these games are a load of fun! Highly recommended. To quote some: Settlers of Catan, Tikal, Elfenland, Carcassonne, Torres, El Grande, Modern Art, Union Pacific... the list is quite big and you can find more info @: The Game Cabinet, at the Luding database, or visiting the "german game of the year" (Spiel Des Jahres) site: http://www.spiel-des-jahres.org/

Magic Chaos Orb From collectible to non-collectible, card games are still among my favourites. The idea is that a deck actually is not very expensive, so I always buy myself a "sacrifical deck" to test the game and I end up having a ton of card games! Grass is one of my favourite (you try to earn money selling marjuhana!) but I also play (or have at least played) Magic, Netrunner, Dragonstorm, Kult, Battletech, Groo, Bonhanza, Mamma Mia! and a bunch of Italian games. I'm looking forward to buy more!
Of course my beloved one will always remain... Poker... ;^)
Card Games

Miniatures (3d) Games Finally, something that I don't play that much...! I have a favourite one, obviously, Warzone, from Target Games. Despite the smaller diffusion, compared to Warhammer 40k (Games Workshop) for example, this miniatures game features some very good rules at a convenient price... I do have a Brotherhood Army. I decided to go with them for their ability in casting spells, but I also love the way those little Inquisitors look! Target also released the fantasy inspired Chronopia. Blood Angel

  • Live RPG: I use to play Alexander, a MalKaVi@n vampire in The Masquerade...
  • Chess (not at a competitive level, though, but I'd love to), Abalone...
  • Subbuteo... yeah, those fancy little soccer men...
  • DragonDice...
  • ...
  • ...what else?!
