Step 5: Finishing Touches

  • inspect - Now is the time to proofread your object thoroughly! Check for misspellings, typos, incorrect usage of modifiers, etc. It is not fair to expect the oeditors to correct bunches of mistakes. We do not mind fixing a couple, but none of us have the time to rewrite your object for you. If you are uncertain about the spelling of a word, please refer to a dictionary.

  • submit - once you have checked your object over, then type submit. The oeditors should have it approved or rejected within the next 24 hours. If more than a day has passed, please ask an oeditor about the status of your object. Note: it may take longer to get weapons and special objects approved.

Commands: These are the basic commands for object usage.

  • lso - this shows you the main list of objects.
  • lso m - allows you to view the objects that you have created.
  • view name - allows you to view what another person is wearing.
(example: view Terpsichore or view me)
  • i me - allows you to see what objects you have in your inventory.
  • o stat # this allows you to look at the description and details of a particular object.
  • wear id - allows you to wear the object
    (example: wear gloves)
  • strip id - allows you to strip the object
    (example: strip gloves)
  • purge id - allows you to purge the object from your inventory
    (example: purge gloves)
  • use id - allows you to use the none_r and none_p macros
    (example: use gloves)
  • use id me - allows you to use the self_r and self_p macros
    (example: use gloves me)
  • use object id name of target - allows you to use the targ_p, targ_d, and targ_r macros
    (example: use gloves Terpsichore)
