We all remember the "great" games, right? The games that were SO COOL we live the rest of our lives trying to have another gamegastic experience like that? Well, so far this hasn't been one of those games. The potential is there. An original world with a decent history, potential future, and played in enough (see Original Serif for details) that the NPC's feel more 'real'. A great starting point for an epic, mind-blowing gaming experience. (Hey, where's my extra exp?). I blam the sputtering along on the players. Collectively, as opposed to individualy, that is. Kyle has a GREAT handle on his character, I have a character who's going to be just FULL of suprises, but we need more. There's an Elf in the mix, somewhere (hello? hello? Has anyone seen our lost Elf?) but he was absent last game. What we need are two more SOLID players, who will be there every week. (Interested? Email me! at wolf3794@yahoo.com ) Here, I am going to chronicle the adventures, and give you a bit of insight on Serif v. 2.0. If you read the Original Serif, you may be confused. How can this be a different version of the original? Well, for starters, I got to use the same array of ablility scores. Second...well, I'm WELL known for changing character concepts RIGHT before a game starts...so I changed him! To a Psion! Yeah! Kineticist baby! Woo woo! Ok, enough about that. The Elf won't last much longer...he's slated for either execution at the hands of a player (me!) or by the DM. I want to do it my way, because a) I get the exp for killing a CR 1 'monster' and b) because my idea is HELLA cool! (Imagine a PC converting from devout aitheism to becoming a disciple of Nerull!) I'm not sure if it's going to be allowed, or at least allowed yet, but if/when I can do it, it's going to be AWESOME. Especially if I can get the magical item I'm trying for. (An amulet that creates one skeleton or zombie per day! Guess who's my first target?).
