The hero of Twinsun wandered through the streets of Citadel Island, completely puzzled as to where the thugs could have got to and what they wanted his Book of Bú for. He looked closely into all of the shops. The Pharmacy had been locked up and undisturbed. The pub was now silent after all of the late night partying and everything seemed to be in order everywhere else. He had made his way round in a circle of the buildings and he finally came to the museum. At first it looked normal, but then he saw the main lock for the door. Citadel Island was normally a place of peace and so there was still an old lock on the front entrance to the attraction. This, on closer inspection had been easily smashed. Twinsen only had to push the door open. He then found the late-shift security guard. He had been knocked out with a large metal object, something like a crow bar and was still lying on his face with blood trickling out of his scalp. The hero also noticed the infra-red detector which had been smashed, probably with the same implement that had laid the security guard to rest for a while. As Twinsen went through the rooms everything seemed in order, until he spotted one display. The glass been smashed and the display stolen. Twinsen had only visited the museum once or twice, because it was all about him and he knew everything. He cast his mind back to the last time he went that way. Suddenly it came to him. The display had been a fragment of rock from the old Temple of Bú. Temple Park had been built over the top ‘to remember one of the most important parts in Twinsen’s life’. He realised that there had been writing on the fragment, written in a strange hand that could been deciphered with the Book of Bú. That had answered Twinsen’s second question, but where were they!? Twinsen realised that there was not much time left, only enough to visit one more place.
