I've decided to post your comments on the stories. If anybody feels uncomfortable with this, I'll will discontinue right away! I'm just doing this for the ego trip :-)
I won't post any names or e-mail addresses, so don't worry. Thanks a million for your comments!

Yeah... the only reason I hate you is when you leave us in suspense ;)
PS please add me to the mailing list. Thanks.

(23 Oct) - I love to be hated. Wait a minute....

Amazing detail and a great story. Keep it up and definately add me to your mailing list. I need something to keep me busy at work. :)
(23 Oct) - Oh-oh. Should I include a panic button on my stories, like if your boss shows up?

Oh, by all means, continue with the new chapters. I really love them. Im actually waiting till about now to tell my friends about it. So there would be enought chapters to keep them reading. We are total XCOM1 fans.
I wish they would re-write X-COM with the new realtime combat engine from X-COM3. Plus they could add a tactical air battle engine (like your chapter when they shot down the first UFO), the game would be truly great. Man, Id love to see (or better yet, consult or work on) an X-COM movie (Or telivision miniserirs). I miss Dark Skies.
I was thinking that mentioning Bell Labs would be better than mentioning Steve Jobs. After all, Jobs and Apple were only sucessful by integrating Motorolla CPUs and a 3.5? bit graphics engine into a pretty slick package (for the time). You ever try out any of the apple emmulators. Its amazing to thing what we thought was state of the art 10 years ago.
Actually I really love your stories. Im a mechanial engineer. And really like the way you are including Clancey type details. If youd like, I'd be more than happy to offer critiquing services when you plan to go back and do editing. But in the meantime, keep up the great work.

(20 Oct) - I'm a mech. eng. too. Yeah, I'd love to see a movie on the subject. When I decide to re-write that particular chapter, I'll take you up on the help offer:-)

I enjoy reading your XCOM story. Please put me on your list to be notified when you finish more chapters.
Regards,
Bill
(20 Oct) - Okay.

Man, Those are great stories, I can tell you did your homework. Have you ever read Rogue Warrior? It seems like you heve all of the same info as the exCO of SEAL Team Six. Keep up the great work and please put me on your e-mail list.
(20 Oct) - I haven't read it (yet). The information I have is either found through Internet, a couple of books I've bought and, well, I work in a newspaper (you should see our documentation center!)

"Hubba, hubba, nice stories!" ;)
Great stuff. Keep it coming!
(20 Oct) - Thanks, man!!!

I haven't readed your stories yet because I downloaded them just now. When I have time I will read them and I'm sure they are damn good.
Please add me to your mailing list. THX.
Peter
(20 Oct) - Read on, read on. Thanks for the confidence.

PLease add me to your mailing list. Thanx Alot!
Sean
(20 Oct) - You're most welcome.

Well, seeming as though you stuck your email on the page I thought I'd email you to tell you it's great, keep it up and add more chapters so we can read all of the damn thing :)
(17 Oct) - Thanks! Receiving e-mail from people is my only reward (ample, I'd say:-)

You writing is awsome. I hope you continue and finish the story.
Interisting way you can link the Alien comuputer with human technology is with Bell Labs. They developed the first transistor. Before that there were vacume tubes. We has computers as early as the 30's I think, but they were either mechanical or vacuum tube.
You can say that the government project analyzed the components of the broken alien computer, or used Bell Labs as a consultant. Hence Bell Labs develop the first transistor, and later the first intergrated circuit.
Anyways, I saw the comment you had. Just wanted to let you know I love your work.

(17 Oct) - Yeah, I think you're right in your observations. I was initially considering sticking a company in there (like Bell or IBM or Intel) but in the end I decided not to mention any names.
In any case, I think the chapter could be re-writen more in-depth. Alas, I'm trying to forge ahead with the new chapters and I'm too busy.

While not adhering to the true spirit of the game (imagine being able to make e-115), i must say that out of 10, your stories rate a whopping 15. May your computer never crash! westyX
(13 Oct) - My main problem is trying to stay true to the game while actually making sense. X-COM is a great computer series but some of its plot lines are weak. I'm not saying I can do better than the makers of the game, but I'm trying to form a coherent story. And it's not easy (but fun:-).

This is one of the best stories I've ever seen!!!! It is full of exciting, Bone-chilling moments. (I mean it) Keep up the good work!!!
P.S. When is the next chapter coming?? Please post it. Also, can you keep me on here?
John
(13 Oct) - Chapters are posted sort of on a weekly basis. Thanks for the praise!!!

Hey man! I find your stories so damn cool! Hurry up and write more :) Also, you deserve even more credit for your well developed stories cause you are *_Spanish_*!!!! Even myself, who speaks English, can't write that well! BTW, get me on your mailing list, can't wait!
Wesley
(13 Oct) - Thanks. I'm hurryin', I'm hurryin'.

I've looked at your X-Com writing, and I've just got to say that it's definitely some fabulous work you've got here, and I really want to be put on that mailing list. ;)
Keep up the great work!
Steve
(13 Oct) - You're on the list!

Damn! Your XCOM stories really rock! I mean, it's just the perfect blend of sci-fi and techno-thrillers. It clearly shows that either you've done a helluva lot of research or you've been through quite a lot. Anyway, I really like the way how the entire ground forces started out... it seems extremely plausible that the first agents would be recruited from Spec-Ops. Cool man...just keep it up. And, uh, can you stick me on your mailing list please?
Long live XCOM!
(10 Oct) - Research or personal experience? I'd say a little of both. Actually, a lot of both:-)
P.D. You're stuck on the list!

Good stuff man!
(10 Oct) - Thank you!
