(GAMEMASTER NOTE-- The Group 2 scenario coexists with the Group 1 scenario.)

THE STORY…

They are earth's finest. Blessed with unique powers, these individuals: Crackshot, Moira J. Haste, the hero formerly known as Thor, the Champion, Bonecrusher and Scorch, have pledged their lives and talents for the betterment of mankind.

It was the aftermath of the Onslaught saga. Earth's heroes, The Fantastic 4, Avengers, and countless other heroes, sacrificed their lives to defeat Onslaught. The city was in chaos. Sentinels roamed the streets, eradicating every being who possessed the "power" gene, those individuals with the potential to exhibit superhuman powers--without any regard to the safety of the civilians! Fires erupted, as if on cue, as the city was dotted with fire bellowing out of buildings. Looters paraded the streets as the undermanned police force watched in vain.

Then, from the smoke-filled sky, two heroes, Moira J. Haste and the hero formerly known as Thor, appeared. Like a blessing from the high heavens, these two heroes swept part of the city clean of sentinels, looters and superhuman criminals. The media, hungry for a first-hand look at the new generation of superheroes, caught their valiant act on video. They became instant celebrities.

During this time they encountered the superpowered individual, IT, the living waste. IT, a former bio-chemist found the cure for the legacy virus, but unfortunately its side-effect produced a violent mutagenic agent that transformed him into his present form -- a being of pure toxic waste, filled with an uncontrollable rage and violence. The dynamic duo, the hero formerly known as Thor and Moira J. Haste must bring down the doctor -- without harming him to learn the cure for the legacy virus. AND precisely at this time the whole team of GROUP1 was assembled inside their giant spaceship fortress, Goliath, en route to earth to also bring down IT without harming him. GROUP1, unaware of the existence of Moira and the hero formerly known as Thor as heroes, or the newly established hero team GROUP2, considered Moira and Thor (THFKA) a danger to the existence of IT. In the conflict that ensued between IT and GROUP2 members, Moira J. Haste and Thor (THFKA), Thor(THFKA) was able to wrestle hold the renegade doctor, IT in midair in the middle of Lincoln Center. In an act of desperation, IT , the living waste, self- destructed, creating a huge crater on the said Circle.

Meanwhile, aboard the Goliath, GROUP1 witnessed the end of their hopes in ever finding the cure for the legacy virus. On their monitors it was viewed that the hero formerly known as Thor killed IT!

After a few cleanups in the Lincoln Circle, Moira J. Haste and the hero formerly known as Thor returned to their headquarters in the Krupp Building in the corner of 7^th Ave. and Cleveland Street. There they were ambushed by Broods! Moira, whose power to manipulate superhuman abilities proved useless as the brood possessed only natural predatory instincts. Thor (THFKA) ,on the other hand, kicked some brood butts. But Moira, using her Martial Arts skills, hi-tech weaponry and acrobatics, also proved victorious against her attackers on the elevator, with minor bruises.

After the last of the brood were taken-cared of, a brood escape pod crashed on the Krupp building, GROUP2's headquarters. Upon an initial scan of the vessel, Moira, with her background in the Paranormal and medicine concluded that an alien brood, slightly different than the ones they defeated, was hibernating within the pod.

To make matters worse, Goliath, the spacefortress of GROUP1, decloaked right on top of the Krupp building! It was a ship that spanned a major portion of the city. GROUP1 was under the impression that they intercepted an escape pod of Brood origin that crash landed on this particular building. GROUP 1 analyzed the situation, their ship computers indicated that the building, Krupp building, was abandoned, no other life forms other than several Broods that dot certain levels of the building (the ones that Thor (THFKA) and Moira defeated earlier) The ship deliberately cloaked the presence of GROUP2 members Moira and Thor (THFKA), other GROUP2 members, Champion, Crackshot and Scorch were away saving lives in the different portions of the city. The ship also analyzed that the only way to prevent a brood infestation of the city is to purge the building by firing an implosive particle beam, thus destroying the entire building without damaging neighboring buildings. All GROUP1 members agreed to the analysis of the ship computers.

Luckily, Moira J. Haste and the hero formerly known as Thor went outside their building to investigate this "alien" giant ship that appeared on top of their headquarters…only to watch in horror and disbelief as the giant ship fired a stream of plasma onto their H.Q., leveling it to the ground!

A few minutes later, Crackshot, Bonecrusher and Scorch joined Moira and Thor(THFKA) to battle members of GROUP1. GROUP1 battled GROUP2 because they were under the impression that GROUP2 was harboring dangerous aliens --- Broods. And GROUP2 was battling GROUP1 because the latter just destroyed their H.Q.

In the battle, Toti, GROUP1's team-leader, with his attack from afar strategy, found out Crackshot's weakness -- electricity. From within Goliath, Toti captured Crackshot using an electric tractor beam.

It was later revealed that the ship, Goliath, was actually a longtime last-of-its-kind living techno-construct enemy of the Shi'ar empire cloaked near earth for centuries. Thus while a battle ensued in the streets of NY between GROUP1 and GROUP2, due to a misunderstanding, Gladiator, the Shi'ar's champion, struck a destructive blow on the giant ship Goliath's antigravity system! The ship reactively rendered Gladiator helpless with a unique radiation beam. Thus, Goliath, the giant ship, was on a freefall towards most of NY. All the heroes from GROUP1 and GROUP2 , even some supervillains, banded together to stop it from falling.

The strain was too much…even for the combined efforts of all concerned. Slowly the ship was still falling and each passing moment was crucial. Toti tried to fix the damage, but to no avail. Meanwhile, Crackshot, who was held prisoner inside the ship managed to temporarily "meld" with the ship, giving him partial access to all its systems. With this realization, Crackshot freed himself, activated Goliath's self-destruct mechanism and teleported it to the far side of the moon where it exploded, taking with it chunks of the moon itself.

The whole city seemed to come to life as they rejoiced that an impending disaster was averted by these new heroes. The celebration only lasted for less than a minute.

The sky suddenly went dark. Electro-magnetic storm brewed across the sky as two giant god-like beings descended and hovered above the city. There was silence. Then what seemed like thunder was actually just the voice of one of the entities. He said: " Why?! Why did you destroy our precious artifact?" (he was talking about Goliath) "We have entrusted it to you we have…" before he could finish his sentence he was cut off by his compatriot "Less talk my brother just kill…destroy!" He clenched his fist, and electro-magnetic pulses coursed around it.

Toti and some of the heroes tried to reason to the gods…but to no avail. After all why would these "gods" listen to insignificant insects they thought. X'org, the one with the clenched fist, was going to eviscerate NY city when his brother, G'rox, stopped him "Wait…" he said "I sense something…yesss. It would be for our own enjoyment if we do not kill them…for now" He turned towards his brother and gleamed . X'org understood what his brother meant as he sensed it too. They looked at each other and said in unison "This would be fun" A blinding light sparked where the "gods" were and then they were gone, the clouds soon dispersed.

What does it mean?

That was probably what the heroes thought. Something that will bother them for some time. The cleanup and introductions that came later went quickly. But for now GROUP2 with Crackshot, Moira J. Haste, The hero formerly known as Thor, The Champion, and Scorch must reorganize themselves, think about their future, more specifically where will their next HQ be? What will their future be in this world without heroes? What are the implications that these gods, albeit somewhat childish, want to convey?

There are no answers for now for they know that their adventures as superheroes have just begun!

After the previews incident, Crackshot, with his enhanced senses, sensed danger which led him to an abandoned building at the corner of 9^th Ave. and Wilson Street. There he saw his weaponsmith friend, Que, from his days as an undercover agent, tied to a chair on the second floor. Crackshot was about to untie his friend when the Mutant Liberation Front ambushed him!

Blessed with superhuman speed and Martial arts capabilities, Crackshot was able to take down a number of MLFers. Unfortunately the MLF's sheer numbers was too much and a lucky shot finally rendered our hero unconscious.

Crackshot awakens, devoid of his weapons and gadgets, in a prison of some sorts. There were no windows except for the huge, transparent glass-like panel in front of him that separates him from an MLF member.

"Don't know what the big deal is…with you I mean." The MLF member teasing Crackshot's seemingly hopeless situation…"They paid us a million bucks just to get your blood sample" "A freakin' blood sample"If it were up to me I'd just cut you up real good and leave you rotting. Think it's fun being kicked in the face huh? You broke two 'o my teeth as#h%le. When this is all over ahm 'a gonna get my revenge, jus' you an' me mano-a-mano our path will cross soon and when that happens you're a dead man" HaHaHaHaHa his laughter echoing across the hallway.

The MLF member left, leaving Crackshot with a mystery -- they took a blood sample. Why? The prison Crackshot was in was tight shut no way out. Everything seemed hopless when Crackshot felt a presence…a BIG presence…hovering near…cloaked…

PART 2

(Moira J. Haste, Haunted House )

It was the first of her timeslips. Moira J. Haste was battling the Brood when suddenly she was in a Victorian styled house!

In the course of her exploring, Moira battled several Hand members, still weak and wounded from her fight with the Brood, Moira still prevailed. After the Hand "security" were taken out, two stone statues attacked her, again she was victorious. All the fighting taking its toll, she was getting weaker. When all seems ok, along came two metallic armor statues that suddenly became alive -- with her blood dripping, her endurance taxed to the limit, she still prevailed only to succumb to sleeping gas in the next room.

(Champion, The Rescue)

After saving a few people after the Onslaught saga, Champion, a professional wrestler, just remembered that he was supposed to defend his title. Hurriedly on his way to the stadium, he encountered a time slip, similar to what happened to Moir J. Haste.

He was in the same Victorian styled house where Moira was abducted. And like Moira, Champion encountered several Hand members and statues coming alive. Being a powerhouse with invisibility, all challenges thrown before him were handled with ease. It was in a laboratory room where he found Moira, a sexy full-bodied woman, strapped on an examining table, with doing some tests.

Rescue his teammate he did, with his invisibility compromised, he battled the slightly more powerful Diablo to a standstill, it was a give-and-take fist fight until finally Champion, the world wrestling champion title-holder, finally delivered the final stunning blow to Diablo. But not without cost. During the fist fight, Diablo was able to collect a tissue sample from Champion.

As soon as Champion defeated Diablo, he freed Moira. The whole house suddenly shuddered, collapsing. With no alternatives left, Champion and Moira flew through the ceiling only to find themselves in the palm of a Celestial!
