This site is still under construction so some of the pages will still be blank. Check back soon for updates :) It's amazing what can happen when you spent too much time on a gaming forum. What all started as a topic about taking your Stargate team to 'famous' worlds. Somehow the topic of the upcoming release of Return of the King got mixed in and everything went 'odd'. Soon I was imagining Sauron as a Goa'uld, hordes of genetically-engineered Uruk-Hai and goblins controlling suits of Balrog Class Battle Armour. The nature of the forums being what it is, the idea festered and grew within my mind until the fateful day - December 17th. Being the LotR fan that I am I had taken the oppurtunity to see all three films [the first two being the extended versions] back-to-back on an IMAX sized screen. 12 hours of Hobbit goodness later I emerged from the darkened room, my brain bubbling with ideas, plots and plans. All these are available now in a condensed form [tho may still be found on the Alderac Forum where they first grew] and ready to be used in your home Stargate SG-1 games. I should point out at this point that none of this material is in any way official and does not exactly conform to the history of Middle-Earth laid down by J.R.R. Tolkien many years ago. I have adapted the story in order for it to fit better into the SG-1 mileiu and as such certain things have changed that are to some peoples dislike. I make no apologies for this tho hope that you understand my reasons for doing so and find much enjoyment in the rules herein. Anyway, thats enough welcoming rant from me. Use the links on the left to navigate the sections of the site, and if you are a player and not a GM please leave the Appendices to you GM as they may spoil your gaming enjoyment. |
