Strategies
- About the best strategy I can give is to get out and attack first. Hit your enemy before he/she has time to get an armed force together. Even if you only have five or six level one footmen or grunts, take them out and do some damamge. But don't forget to keep building up your own defenses.
- Research flame shield and invisibility. Take your mage and a peasant to an enemy town, cast both spells on your peasant, and walk him through the town. You can do the same thing on critters.
- When you build towers, build farms around them. Unless your enemy has a catapult, ballista, mage, or death knight, your towers are untouchable.
- I don't know about anyone else, but I love to blow things up, whether I'm Orcs or Humans. But too many archers or towers close together can ruin that plan. That's when the mages/death knights come in handy.
- If you can handle it, build two or three towers in an enemy's city at the beginning of the game. If it doesn't kill him (it will kill computers), it will set him back far enough to make it pretty easy to take him out. If you leave a peasant next to the towers, you can repair them after your enemy has attacked them. The only problem is if the enemy attacks your peasant first.
