The Demon is the son of Belial and Raan Va Daath of the Pit and the half-brother to Merlin. He was the first child of Hell and so much of a terror that his father had his half-brother bind him into Iason Blaise, a local druidic priest so that he would be constrained. This worked quite well, for quite a while, although Blaise suffered much from joining. Etrigan, at the prodding of Merlin, fought at Camelot for Arthur and then went mostly dorment for years, as Merlin was gone. He came back to his full power again in the silver age when he moved to Gotham. Because of recent tragedies there, though, his other half, Jason Blood, has moved him to Gateway City. |
