BOLO
Name: Bolo
Role: Team Leader, Matrix Calgary
Appearance: Bolo is a seven-foot tall golden robot. Basically humanoid in design, nothing is known of his origins though popular opinion is that Bolo is a sentient machine of alien design.
Powers/Tactics: Bolo possesses incredible strength and resistance to attacks. He is capable of flight at great speeds. His senses are enhanced with 360-degree vision in multiple spectral bands and active sonar abilities. He has demonstrated proficiency with certain martial arts moves, which when combined with his size and strength can be quite damaging. Bolo carries a sidearm called the Golden Gun which emits a punishing particle beam.
Background: Bolo first appearance as a superhero in Calgary was in 199?. Although he seemed initially reluctant to be associated with Matrix and its crimefighting activities, he quickly distinguished himself as a force to be reckoned with. It is unknown what his ultimate motivation is though he has appeared dedicated to the cause of justice. He rose in the ranks of Matrix and assumed the role of team leader following the tragic death of Insight.
