A very technically well-programmed site with a nice look, unfortunately much of the site is still "coming soon". Shakespeare In Cyberspace -- "Who's Shakespeare?" you ask. There are many people out there in the world, some who could care less about Shakespeare, but Brian Wilkins believes this dislike towards the Bard comes from the fact that his writings are difficult to understand. That's where SIC steps in! He's broken down the plays into two categories: the Players and the Breakdowns. The Players explains who the main characters are, and the Breakdowns work the same way and offer easy to understand Act summaries. A great resource for actors or students! Renaissance Texts Research Centre: Shakespeare and the Globe -- The site to go to for up-to-date information on the Old Globe, and the reconstruction of the new Globe theatre in London.
