Paintball's History...

The History of Paintball:

Paintball has been around for only about 20 years. The first game was played on June 27, 1981. This game was free for all where no one had a team. At first, the paintball guns were called markers. Markers were guns which shot paintballs to mark cattle. They were pistals that needed cacking before each shot. One day a rancher decided to shoot someone with one. Eventually people were playing a game with them where they would "tag" their opponent which would put them out of the game. Paintball has grown a lot since 1981, still, a lot of people haven't heard of it. As more people have been drawn to the game, the guns have become more powerful and easier to use. There are semi-automatic and fully automatic guns now. That has helped the game grow a lot. There are also more safety features which make players and parents more comfortable with the game. email me.
