Mission
0000 and Synopsis of Characters
Once upon a time, in a far away place, there was a land of the
free, a.k.a. Triagot. Triagot was similar to America,
except for the fact that it was a magical world and anything was
possible. Dragons and fairies lived with humans and
mermaids alike. Super-heroes and heroines roamed that
world, chasing and capturing the “super- villains.”
The source of the magic and fantasy came from the Fantasiatic
Well. The source of the well came from all the people in
Triagot who continually believed in all of the dragons and
fairies and Superheroes and heroines. But there were also
people who believed in the ghosts and demons and witches and
whatnot.
Soon,
everyone got tired of all the fantasy and wanted to try
something more difficult. Something hard. Something
that HAD rules and laws and restriction. Soon Rumors about
a new, challenging world spread, and people started forgetting
the mermaids and magic and turned to things like art, science,
and religion, and other things that would disregard fantasy as
“real.” The mermaids and dragons panicked for they had
no power in being able to supply the magic for the Fantasiatic
Well. And without the humans constantly believing in
magic, they knew that they would disappear. They could do
nothing to stop that tragedy, and slowly, one by one, each
species of dragon, fairy, super-hero, and super-villain died.
Over time, that world’s magic totally diminished and all that
was left could only be called “Normal” and “Real.”
But the Fantasiatic Well did not disappear. That meant
that someone still believed that magic existed. Someone
believed enough, so that the Fantasiatic Well would continue to
exist. And I think that’s how I got this power.
This power of fire.
Me.
I’m Himiko Arukai. My “code name” is Thorn.
Thorn, because a thorn is ‘not to be laughed at’ or picked
on (hah, I’d like to see you try beat up a thorn bush). I wish
I could be like that. Be terrifying and respected.
Like heck I’m not. So yes, the name works enough for me.
Well, Himiko isn’t terrifying or respected; she’s just a
quiet little schoolgirl. She’s nice and friendly, and
sometimes pissed off but she isn’t terrifying. But thorn
can be. I have the power of fire. And when I get
pissed off, I can use that power. I think what happens is
that I get all tense an’ stuff and the power flows.
Sorta like how words can flow when you get pissed. But I
hardly ever swear. I use my power. Smirk. Hah.
In other words, don’t mess with me. I may look small
an’ innocent, but you don’t want to be dealing with Thorn.
This
power was just always with me, I didn’t learn it, like
witchcraft, it just WAS. Heh, but I never used it on
anyone when I was younger. That’s not how life works.
Not for me. I don’t go around hurting everyone just
because I might have an advantage. Sheesh. If I had
a whole gang of people chasing after me, firepower might not
even slow them down.
My best
guess is that someone wanted the magic and power to continue in
Triagot. But this land is not called “Triagot”
anymore. It’s been named and renamed countless times and
the name “America” has stuck. And so, America it is,
and we are on Earth, a name familiar to you all. But,
technically, Earth is still that old land of Triagot.
I don’t
know why I’ve got the power. I don’t think it’s for
some “Mysterious Destiny” or anything. Although, if I
have supposedly “fictional” magic to begin with, a
mysterious destiny is possible… And I know for a fact
that there are others. Others with a similar power.
Characters
Thorn.
I am the first member of the team. My uniform was
traditionally a black outfit that covered my entire body although
now it's been modified for comfort. My colors were
originally purple in black, but now I kind of like red
too... I like going out on missions although I have limited
abilities and I cannot fly. I also cannot fight with my
power of fire in aquatic areas. I use my power of fire to
blast spheres of energy at opponents and i can also form my energy
into tangible objects to throw or place as traps. I don't
know much martial arts but I use what I can because I love hand to
hand combat.
Rose.
Third person introduced to the crime fighting idea (Tiger was
second, as I recall…but Rose is officially the 2nd
member ‘cause Tiger hardly comes around) Her uniform is usually
made of a short miniskirt, belt, and tubetop- all in a maroon
tone. Rose is more the indoor type and is often assigned
control room duty. Although the control room wasn’t even
used in the first four missions, it’s there for later use.
Rose is skilled in some martial arts but also uses her poisons and
weapons to fight.
Ice. She’s skilled in archery, swordsmanship, and martial
arts. Her uniform varies according to whatever is
comfortable and that usually eliminates any skirts or excessively
revealing clothes. Her main colors are shades of light blue,
white, and silver. Ice is usually assigned to missions of
assassination (only to get rid of baddies) although that’s
primarily what we always do. No leaving the bad guys for the
cops in this job. She is equipped with an “ice” power,
which is focused mainly on her sword. She can
instantaneously create “ice daggers” or other weapons that can
melt without a trace.
Angel. The peacemaker. She’s nice most of the time,
but can be really mean and serious when need be. She can use
her “psychic power” to probe minds and destroy
people’s sanity. Her staff contains most of her power.
She is skilled in martial arts but doesn’t have to resolve to
that very often. Her colors are white, orange, and yellow.
When she gets pissed, her outfit morphs into something
more…drastic. She
can fly when she wants, since all angels have wings. She and
Ice take the missions that require flight.
