Turning your GeForce 2 Ultra into a Quadro2 Pro tnaw_xtennis
We have reported the methods that turning GeForce256/GeForce 2
GTS/GeForce 2 MX into
Quadro/Quadro2 Pro/Quadro2 MXR, and here is the trick for turning your GeForce 2 Ultra
into a Quadro2 Pro.
For those GeForce 2 Ultra cards with NVIDIA's reference design, all you need to do is just
soldering and shifting 2 SMP-resistors on the card from R121 to R122, and from R124 to R123
respectively (update: soldering and shifting that SMP-resistor
on the card from R121 to R122 only
in most of the cases). Flashing a new video card BIOS is no needed. The latest NVIDIA's Detonator
driver is suggested to be applied.
