The University of Alaska Southeast Sitka Campus offers free GED tutorials and pre-GED evaluations as well as the actual GED test. The ABE (Adult Basic Education) Center has GED preparation materials online. Free assistance will be offered by its tutors via e-mail and chat rooms to Southeast Alaska residents who are unable to take advantage of facilities in their area.

Registration:
The University of Alaska Southeast Adult Basic Education Center is government funded. In order to retain funding, student participation must be documented. As such, a registration form must be filled out.

Upon receipt and processing of registration materials, a web address and password will be sent to students allowing access to the website.

Test Centers
UAS Sitka administers the GED test on its campus. The fee is $25. Testing days are Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-4pm and 6-8pm. The testing coordinator is Lynne Davis who can be reached at 907-747-7785 or by email at tnjld1@uas.alaska.edu.
