Friends of UBC WebRing

Here are the basic requirements to be added to the web ring:

#1 You should be a student of University of British Columbia, Vancouver, B.C., Canada, in the past or present. And wish to meet more friends in the University over the Web. Your home page can be any topic or just a personal page except one condition as stated below.
#2 Your page should exist and be functional. Most good pages are constantly under construction but people should be able to visit your page and see something worth visiting. If you are not yet ready for visitors, wait until you are before joining the ring.
#3 No adult material on your main page. You never know who's going to come in along the ring so there should be no adult material on your page.
#4 Your page must contain the proper web ring. It would hardly make sense to for people on the web ring to visit your page without allowing anyone to travel the web ring from your page.

If your page meets these basic requirements, simply fill out the following form and to register your page with the Friends of UBC WebRing.

Site Title:
This is the title of your home page. This is how your page will appear in the index of pages on the web ring.
Site URL:
This is the URL of your home page. People visiting your page through the web ring will start on this page.
Keywords:
Enter a few more keywords which describe your website to be used by the Webring's new search engine. For example, if your site is an image gallery, you might include image and gallery..
Description:
Enter a short description of your site.
E-mail:
You must supply a valid e-mail address.
Password:
Be sure to write down your password. You will need it if you ever need to edit your page information, such as when you move your page to a new URL or change your e-mail address.

Once you have completed this form, you will be sent an e-mail message confirming your registration. However, you will not be part of the web ring until your page has been reviewed by the ringmaster. Under normal circumstances, you will be added within 48 hours, as long as you have met the basic requirements.

When the HTML fragment has been added to your page, it should appear something like this. The code will be sent to you by e-mail after you submit your site.
