Decided to start replacing my old
pics. Again. ^_^U
Just a random drawing I did, an idea for a story I've not started yet... note that I haven't done my research on freshly dug graves so these look more like termite mounds. =P. And I suck abysmally at rear views.... well, it's practice I guess. Practice makes perfect. And don't ask me why it's so dark, it looked like this after I scanned it. Tell me if the pics aren't big enough. I'll reupload a large pic. |

I designed a character for a 3 week Semester-end project, and since it was 3 long, boring weeks, I decided to make a desktop I wouldn't mind staring at for at least 9-10 hours everyday for 3 weeks. Her name's Narissha Muk'Sar, and no, she's actually somewhat lizardlike from the waist down no matter what you think. I decided to exaggerate certain *ahem* areas simply because I needed some eye candy to break the monotony. I was attempting a slightly new hybrid style of drawing/shading. This was actually the first of several attempts at the new outline method I was trying to figure out for years, before a friend told me in simple english how to do it. (He had a couple of good American comics to read, the Warlands series amongst them. Good stuff.) Warning : 800x600 file, download at your internet access time risk. |

I can't stop myself everytime I look at this. I had a drawing session with a friend who does short KOF (clean) dojins for another friend, and she was discussing the possibilities of Ralf and Clark both having foster daughters who took after their daddies, so she put me up to doing Ralf's foster daughter. I don't know, it just seems kinda warped, cracked, whatever you want to say, when I came up with this. (And yes, I named my 'Design Studio' AngelFether(tm), so DON'T YOU DARE TAKE IT!) My friend's comment (amidst peals
of endless laughter) : "Looks like a feminine Ralf!"

Yahoo! I just love Chobits!!! If only I had a 'Pascom' (Japanese
for Personal Computer) like this of my own, then I'd never be bored with
Photoshop again! ^_^ As you can see if you read Chobits, the character
on the left doesn't exist, she's my dream Pascom.... Miki! ^_^ *sighs dreamily*
Maybe... one day. Of course, I'd probably change her outfit once a month
or so to avoid boredom.
BTW, if you're worried about Motosuwa Hideki's (Chii's owner) cleaning cost for that paint, it's watercolour so it'll wash right off! ^_^ No $$$ problems then! hehe. This is actually a cutout from a larger pic I did for the sake of doing. ^_^ I used a washed-out pastel colour theme for colouring/outlining the picture in Photoshop 5.5 (I hate 6.0's interface), although I really, really wished I knew how those Japanese CG artists get those really fine lines! Hahahaha. This was done while waiting
for my Japanese lecturer who was late for our class, guess what I felt
at the time? ^_^U It's not bad for a five minute sketch. I particularly
like the lips, although the rest of the face is also good. No, I don't
have a name for her, but if you think of one let me know. ^_^
I realized one thing while sketching a few pics before this... I can't draw handsome males for nuts. I think I better work on that... I need variety anyway. |
