My Ferrets (cute, very cute)

The Trouble and Nibbles story:
My boyfriend, Kevin, first introduced me to ferrets via his mother's ferret: Monster. (Monster is a Very large and cuddly male ferret.) Since then, I had dreamed of having my own furry carpet sharks. I had previously thought of myself as a "dog-person", but this definetly changed my mind. So, when I moved closer to school, I decided I was going to get a ferret. I put in the request to be allowed to have a ferret with my landpeople. While I was waiting, I bought a cage, squeaky toy, books, etc.... Yet still no word from the landpeople. Thus, verily, the Ferret Fairy was invented. Should a good little boy or girl wish to have a dear ferret companion, and they have all the needed supplies. S/he has only to squeak the Sacred Squeaky Toy with a true heart and one day, a ferret shall be there. Also, I did more research and decided to adopt from a shelter. I attended a Ferret Frolic in Honor of Ferret Freedom Day (The day ferrets were legalized in Massachusetts) and there I met Trouble and Nibbles. They were on they're way to the Frisky Ferret Shelter. Their previous persons had to give them up to make room for (another) new baby and didn't have the time for them. I fell absoultly in love, and with a little pleading asked Loraine Denacourt to hold onto them for me until I got the permission. She said fine, since she had to hold onto them until they got all their shots anyway.... Then, about a month later, the day came when I got permission!! Yipeee!! So, a few days later, the Ferret Fairy, in the form of Kevin and his car, took me to get the munchka-doodles! We've been a happy family ever since.

Chuckle! Chuckle! Dook! Dook! Furf! Chuckle!
Good Reasons to adopt from a shelter instead of buying from a pet store:
