Ikari Shinji

Shito, also known as "Angels" are creatures that come in different sizes, shapes and forms. Their properties are both particles and waves, similar only to light. The material that they are made of are in no way similar to anything found on Earth. But surprisingly, their wave form is very similar to that of man. In fact it is 99.89% similar, proved by Akagi Ritsuko after analyzing Shito Shamshel. The power that gives the Shito the ability to function and to destroy is yet unknown. So what exactly is the Shito? The truth is out there...

SACHIEL 3rd Shito

The first Shito to appear before the very eyes of humans after 15 years. It also became the first Shito to set foot on Japan. It was armed with a spear liked hand that extends as it attacks. After withstanding the explosion of a N2 bomb, it self-repaired and a second head appeared. With it, the eyes fired lasers that destroyed many parts of Tokyo-3 Dai San Shin Tokyo. Self-destructed itself after suffering from injuries while confronted by a berserked EVA-01. EVA-01 made its first "second power-up" or "sai kidou" in this episode.

SHAMSHEL 4th Shito

Able to change from a flying mode to an attacking mode, this Shito has arms of laser beam which it used as weapons. This 4th Shito made substantial damage on EVA-01 with its whip-liked arms. Its life-force terminated when EVA-01 stabbed a Prototype PK-01 Progressive Knife into its red globe-shaped heart.

RAMIEL 5th Shito

Shaped like two pyramids cupped together, the 5th Shito was a flying fortress. It was able to counter attack effectively using laser beams from a specific range. EVA-01's first attempt to stop it was unsuccessful, and resulted to an injured pilot. Using a drill, this Shito attempted to penetrate into Nerv's underground head office. Athough it was destroyed by a modified "Positron Rifle", the Prototype EVA-00 was badly damaged in the attempt. ( It reminds me of a giant "Conril", the ice elemental that follows Rimururu in Neo Geo's Samurai Spirits game. Heh...heh... )

GAGHIEL 6th Shito

Appeared in the Pacific Ocean in persue of Kaji's cargo "Adam". This was the first Shito that Asuka fought using EVA-02. The Shito traveled in great speed in the water and dragged EVA-02 with it. EVA-02 was caught between its teeth.Two UN cruisers were used with the help of EVA-02 to blast through the Shito's mouth, thus ending its life.

ISRAFEL 7th Shito

Engaged EVA-01 and EVA-02 on the shores. After being sliced apart by EVA-02, the Shito split into two bodies. Both EVAs were defeated during the first attempt. The Shito was suffered a N2 bomb and retreated. Before its return, both pilots went through a series of training to obtain Synchronisation between both EVAs and thus defeating the Shito

SANDALPHON 8th Shito

In hybernation within the deep magma of a dormant volcano, the Shito was awaken during Nerv's attempt to capture it. The infant Shito grew rapidly and was able to move freely in the magma. Havesting the idea of contraction and expansion, Asuka piloting EVA-02 stuffed a tube of freezing coolen into the Shito and defeated it.

MATARAEL 9th Shito

This Shito imerged from the sea and proceeded towards Dai San Shin Tokyo Shi. At the meantime Nerv head-quaters was experiencing a power failure. The Shito was shaped like a spider with 4 legs. It eroded the ground of the city with a kind of liquid from its body. It was destroyed by the heavy firing from EVA-01.

SAHAQUIEL 10th Shito

It appeared in orbit above the Indian Ocean. With the ability to detach smaller pieces from its body, it was destructive enough to destroy Nerv's head-quaters on impact of each piece with the ground. It dropped itself toward Dai San Shin Tokyo Shi (Tokyo-3). With the full activation of 3 EVAs' A.T. Field, it was stopped and detroyed before impact.

IROUL 11th Shito

This Shito penetrated the test laboratory of Nerv in Tokyo-3 Dai San Shin Tokyo. After infecting and contaminating an EVA test model, it starting hacking into the MAGI Super Computer in Nerv's Main Base. It took over 2 of MAGI's system, MAGI Melchior and MAGI Balthasar. With it, the Shito activated the self-destruct system of Nerv's Base. Akagi Ritsuko used the third MAGI system, Casper's self cleaning program to terminate the activities of the Shito at the very last second before the worst happen.

RERIEL 12th Shito

This Shito appeared suddenly, floating above Tokyo-3 Dai San Shin Tokyo. It appears to look like a globe with black and white stripes, but the main body is the shadow casted by the globe. The Shito creates an alternate dimension in which will suck everything into the shadowy depths. This dimension seems to have a name called "Deirak no Umi" ( In Japanese ). EVA-01 was trapped by the Shito. Before rescue came, EVA-01 powered-up the second time and forced its way out of the Shito thus destroying it. "EVA sai kidou" the second time here.

BARDIEL 13th Shito

Bardiel's original form is unknown. It took over the body of EVA-03 during its flight from America to Japan. It was revived when EVA-03 was conducting its first power-up test. The Shito formed some kind of web that prevented the Entry-Plug from ejecting. It was destroyed by the Dummy-System controlled EVA-01.

ZERUEL 14th Shito

The strongest among all Shito that appeared. Despite its humanoid form, it can fly freely. With eyes that fired high energy blasts, it penetrated Tokyo-3 Dai San Shin Tokyo and entered the underground city and Nerv's Base. It has arms that are folded like a piece of cloth. When it unfolds, the Shito uses it like a cutter to destroy EVA-02 and EVA-00. After a hard battle, it was destroyed and eaten by the "Awakened" EVA-01.

ARAEL 15th Shito

This Shito appeared as a glowing bird-liked object in orbit in space. It shot a ray of light onto EVA-02, disrupting the pilots thinking ability. In the words of Akagi Ritsuko, the Shito seems to be attacking the pilots's mind, or taking control of. Because of its distance, a blast from a Positron Rifle was not strong enough to penetrate its A.T. Field. Thus Commander Ikari Gendou gave the order for EVA-00 to use the mysterious "Longinus Spear". The spear was javelined out into space and succesfully pierced through the A.T. Field and also the Shito itself.

ARUMISAEL 16th Shito

It appeared in the form of a circle of light ascending from the sky. It broke to form a string when it attacked. It came into contact with EVA-00 and took control of the nervous system of the EVA as well as the pilot Ayanami Rei. It also made mental contact with the pilot. In the attempt to save Shinji piloting EVA-01, Rei self-destructed EVA-00 and destroyed this Shito.

TABRIS 17th Shito

A music lover, this youngster was the last Shito, in human form. In the name of Nagisa Kaworu, he was sent by Seele as the 5th Children of EVA. He made friends with the 3th Children Ikari Shinji and shared his sorrows. But his real motive was to make contact with the so-called "Adam" inside the Terminal Dogma of Nerv's Base. He awoke a pilotless EVA-02 and descended into the Terminal Dogma with it. Shinji was forced to stop him using EVA-01. Kaworu's last wish was for Shinji to kill him, which he did using the hand of EVA-01.
