One of the
two reasons Wakayama is interesting to me is my cousin
lives there as a JET.The other reason is Tendo Yoshimi (see
right) was born in Wakayama-ken. Tendo Yoshimi is an
enka singer. That is roughly equivelant to
country music in America. It isn't considered to be cool
music. I have a key chain that has a plastic model of her
face that I carry around to torment my students.
