Okinawa International Center Yearly Event

The International Cooperation Festival.

The last session's Ikebana class was different from other classes conducted earlier this year. This is because the participants' products were exhibited in this yearly event. Notice that mine is the third from the left.

This picture was taken in the morning. There was no Malaysian booth in this event, except the demo about Malaysia that I did several nights before. This is Jordan's booth manned by Mr Mokhled S Al-Tarawneh (third from the right).

On the other end of the floor, a booth which provided Japanese tea.

This is my duty in the afternoon -- scheduled for 2.5 hours from 1300 to 1430. These people were some of my group team members.

From left: Myself, Tenzin (Butan), Towfik (Yemen), Noua (Laos), a coodinator (I don't know her), and Moses (Uganda). Not in the picture were Poorna (Nepal), Dey (India), P. Pido (Philippines), Quit (Philippines), Al-Tarawneh (Jordan), and Musaed (Saudi Arabia).

There were so many other visitors that I only managed to quit at 1450. Heading straight to the hotel, arriving at 1600. After some rest, walked around in Kokusai Street. Went to Ichiba-dori, Mutsumibashi-dori, OPA (Festival Bldg), Yamagataya Dept. Store, and Mitsukoshi Dept. Store. Dinner at McDonalds again. There were several shops that sell 3 T-shirt at Y1000. Better quality shirts at Y500 - Y800 each.
