BAD STORY: Part 2
I blinked sleepily, watching as an Unidentified Flying Oar (UFO) came hurtling
towards me at tremendous speed.
"Botan...", I mumbled, and leaned against the railing.
"Hi Kurama!, Here I am with a message from Koenma!." said Botan,
sitting on her floating oar, swinging her legs cheerfully.
"Um...ok Botan. What is it?"
I asked tiredly.
*I stood outside, awaiting my team-mates.
I was almost noon and the sounds of everyday life
were swirling into exsistence.*
"Well...um...Oh yeah! Koenma wanted me to tell you that yet ANOTHER,
artifact has been stolen, and it must be returned as it is very valuable!"
"Oh. Okay then Botan...uh...thanks"
"No prob' Kurama!" she said, "Gotta go now though, have' a
schedule to maintain!" She giggled, kicked off the ground and performed a
few acrobatic stunts before flying over the horizon.
"Damn." I mumbled, "This is going to keep us off our break even
longer."
*It was supposed to be our winter break, but we had been called to duty and it
pissed me off.
The tavern door opened and inside, I heard a few muffled cries of,
"Atleast I can tie my shoes!" and "Vanilla and Strawberry swirl
ice cream IS better than chocolate!" before the door shut again.
"Hey Kurama." Yuusuke said, pacing to stand at my side.
"Yuusuke, Botan just stopped by...."
"Why? What did she want?"
"She brought a message from Koenma...seems' there's a THIRD stolen item to
be recovered." I said quietly.
"AAaawwwwwww... that's just going to make this mission longer!"
he whined fixing a sullen look on his face. "But, you did get the name of
the stolen thing...right?"
"Oh! ooops...Gomen ne Yuusuke, I forgot to ask her and she didn't tell
me..." I said a bit annoyed at my mistake.
"Well...those artifacts are going to be hard to find when we don't know
what we're looking for..."
I said slowly.
"Yeah, so we beter get going. I'll get the other two..."
*Yuusuke re-opened the door and I heard a few more angry shreiks of "You
Shrimp! I oughta-" and a few "Right back to you Buffoon!"
Oh boy...
