The major criteria for judging are lettered A, B and C. Those under the respective headings are simple explanation of things that should be satisfactorily met by the homesteader's pages. The purpose of the too-detailed criteria is to lessen the incidence of subjectivity as compared to some broad criteria subject to other interpretations.

Adherence to Page Requirements.

    1. Use of GeoGuide
Although GeoCities GeoGuide is not a Page Content Requirement, per se, we would prefer that applicants should follow the preferred position GeoGuides on their pages, that is, if the homesteader pages have the GeoGuides, they should be located on top of the pages, not anywhere after the <body> tags. This would also be beneficial in promoting your pages within, as well as outside, of GeoCities. Should you want to activate your GeoGuides, please refer to GeoCities GeoGuide Manager .
    2. Right Neighborhood
Remember that the theme of Tokyo is Anime and everything Asian. The specific topics covered by this program shall be exclusive to >Tokyo Neighborhood themes: Anime, Culture, Vacation/travel, Actors/actresses, Martial Arts and Musical Entertainers.
