Registration for Proctors?
I always hated that law, fuck that shit.
And Forum Validators?
We'll assign someone to this position to make sure no one is claiming our forum that shouldn't be.
Will there be revised rules for guild Xp and Gp pools?
Why? Is there an error in the ones I have? o.o;.
Will there be an application on the site for new guilds to join?
Don't call us, we'll call you. It's invitation only, there, chicos.
Will there be a Blacklist Page?
I'll make us a blacklist page, just has at the top "Blacklisted" and put the Nightwings in there and we'll run with it from there.
Will there be a page holding our hit list? Just to tell people who should watch themselves.
Same as above.
Definately make sure to end up on Vulcat and the Map of Known Forums.
While this would be an excellent thing to do, it seems to not work anymore. However, you can find us on the Rhy'Din Wiki instead! Yeah, that's right. Rhy'Din forum. It seems to be the new thing to do.
Will there be rules for Soul Transfer?
For those of you who have no idea what this is, Soul Transfers are moving a soul from one body to another, to cure Vampirism or in some cases handle suicide rezzes, if that's to be allowed, which I'm iffy on. Originally not included in the forum's write-up, you can find them now under the Healing & Ressurections section, after ressurections!
Posted UGoI room links.. Like Night Parade Inn, or UGoI Spar Arena... Sheffield, etc.
A list of registered forum havens.
We've made a page for this and all forum links we have already, called Places and Things.
There should be Some kind of posted time scale, Rhydin to RL time.
No, there is none, and I'll be damned if I do such. if we do, I'm using my old joke, 1 to 84 hours to a day (depending how fast the planet feels like spinning that day), 648 days a year.
Another list of forums we like/respect/accept shit from?
We'll place up our Allies list somewhere, fuck it, put it on the main page nice and pretty like.
What about Reports?
Well, in an anal world were we have to carry slips to prove our dice and have characters walk around with paper like a driver's license and forget what the fuck role playing means, where I get to listen to people say it's b.s. after ya kill 'em in DMs cause they put too much of themselves in their characters and don't want to die, because without AOL..they have nothing..one of the biggest trends to come up out of the 2000s has been the use of "reports". Reports were created as a mandatory weekly (or if kind, bi-weekly) means to inform higher-ups of tasks completed while simultaniously acting as a roll call by ensuring members remain active--either you report every week no matter how little you did, or you got thrown out. Maybe you get a warning first, if you were lucky.
These forums that founded these huge lists of rules stating exactly that--report or leave--believe their principles are founded on the immovable basis of equal rights and reason. Well, fuck that. Forgive the harsh language, but this is something I've grown really passionate about. For all our wild ideas, people should play how they want to play. And you should too. Defined by the dictionary, a report is "a piece of information describing, or an account of certain events given or presented to someone." ...We'll go on further to say, you shouldn't have to report unless there's something worth a report, and we leave it to you to discern that. Reports shouldn't be done unless you're reporting a match or experience-earning thing, or some other completed task that needs reporting, or if there's a trouble or danger or important thing we need to know of.
It is the the GC's discretion how exactly reports should function for their guild, but we maintain the above, it shouldn't be required except for things most dire. Keeping "active" should be just as simple as appearing in the inn, or sending an IM, or whatever, on occasion. Even in our quarterly "Guilds send UGoI their roster for XP confirmation" report, we're not gonna really care if it's late, no one's gonna get thrown out over that, that's just retarded. We understand that life happens, and that this is just a game, and things'll get done because we like each other and watch each other's backs. There are some people, we've learned, that love the idea of reporting. Great, send in whatever to me, I'll check out your pseudo-character blog. Elsewise, keep reports to a need-to-know basis concerning our safety.
