Yggdrasil Goddesses have inspired, though the centuries, a remarkable number of artists, in whose ring  Mr. Kosuke Fujishima appears to be only the last one.

Here we mean to collect some of the art that's been inspired either by the Goddesses them selves or by the A!ms! publications in the last decennia. Thank you to all the contributors.
If you feel you can be a contributor yourself to the Yggdrasil gallery, of if you know of any other beautiful works of art inspired by the Goddesses of Yggdrasil,  don't hesitate and please, let me know!

tech. notes: the thumbs do not reflect the actual image look, just like a finger is not a hand; they're edited splinters of the original images; they can take a while to load. Keep patient, please.

Kosuke Fujishima is the author of the popular manga Aa!Megami-sama! published in Japan by Kodansha. His way of portaying the Goddesses' features has noticeably changed through the years, and you can see a sample of the style twistings on the covers of the manga volumes. Other than the huge black and white production, most remarkably beautiful are the color illustrations made for manga inserts and calendars. Here you have some samples.
Urd+World of Elegance

Peorth in Chapter 98 cover

The manga is a art masterpiece itself. A collection of the most beautiful panels from it would be, so far, immense. Right now we're exposing here just a couple, two bits of it. And, two important (if ever too brief)  returns in the series: the return of Urd's Angel, World of Elegance, in chapter 89, and the return of the Earth Helper Goddess, Peorth, in chapter 98.
Peorth+Gorgeous Rose (insert of vol 11)

Belldandy+Holy Bell

Divine Urd (volume 10 insert)

Angel Skuld (volume 10 insert)

Some wonderful illustrations come, once in a while, along with the manga volumes. Once again, this is not a full collection of them , just a spin on those who seem most significative and/or simply beautiful to me.

In order, from the top to the bottom, you see:

  • Peorth with Gorgeou Rose (insert in volume 11)
  • Belldandy with Holy Bell (insert in volume 13)
  • Urd, the Divine (insert in volume 10)
  • Skuld, Angelwinged (insert in volume 10)

For more colored art by Kosuke Fujishima you can go to the Manga page, and view the beautiful volumes' covers, or, alternatively, go browsing the Aa!Megamisama! Links section of the Yggdrasil Network and find some Gallery site.
