• Afternoon:  August 1999 issue

Announcement: "The drawing of Ah! Megami-sama! the movie has  started.  The completion date is
Spring of 2000 tentatively."

Quoting:  ".....since there was only 5 OVA episodes, the characters had just been introduced and had not
much  character development........ The film will be around 90 mins...The theme of the movie is to explain
why the goddess come to the mortal plan and meet Keichi.......the ending will be 'calling from the soul'...
will try to lead the movie-goers  to say 'yoshi' after seeing the film....."

• August 1999 issues of  Animage (p.70), Animedia (p.173), and Newtype (p.63)

have the news of upcoming Megami movie to be roadshowed in Spring 2000.  All these magazines uses
the same 2 cel work picture as in Aug Afternoon.



• AIC is helding a Cel Exhibition (including Megami cels) in Tokyo since July till end of August 1999.

Announcement :  From p.808-809:  "Megami" Movie Started !! Megami to the Screen!!
Ah! Megami-sama! the Movie is scheduled to be finished in Spring 2000. Next issue [of Afternoon] will
feature the cover and special Color Pages on the newest information of the movie !

 Announcement : The movie is going to have another original character (from the manga). Peorth will have her first on-screen  appearence as well. The scenario has been completed already,  and staff is moving on to fine-tuning of animation. 




• Afternoon: November  1997 issue

Announcement : The executive producer of the Megami movie talks about some troubles in the making
of the movie. They are appearently still working hard on the project, and ask the fans to be patient and wait.
