All the same, she was extremely willful, and handy with both an axe and shoe in last-minute situations.

Walker's first romantic interest, and the one everyone remembers him most with, Shai was something of an occultist with a passion for life and computers. Loyal to her friends, and determined to live in freedom and social acceptence, her union with Walker is what brought the UGoI together for the very first time.

Slane was the UGoI's negotiator of sorts, and a powerful Immortal who worked as a Paladin serving Dragonkind in it's darkest hours in the Dragon Forest. While a good man at heart, darkness spread in him like a curse or disease, and Slane disappeared before anyone could know the fate of that curse.
