Tenshinhan
Suposedly human, although that 3rd eye doesn't help, this individual is an extremely powerful ambitious and intelligent warrior. He has the abbility of copying other people's fighting techniques after seein'am a couple of times. According to an OVA (a movie), he was prince Chaoz' and guardian. In the series, however, he an Chaoz were Tsurusennin's students. He first appeared while Goku trained for the 22nd Tenka-ichi Budokai. He and Chaoz, made their pet monster hog, Inoishkachop, attack villages and then charge a lot of money to the people of the villages to "kill" it. Goku finds out and tries to stop'em. Later, they meet again at the Tenka-ichi. They get to the finals and fight for hours, until Tenshinhan wins for mere luck. While he and Goku were engaged in an aerial fight, both exhausted, Goku knocks him down with a headbutt powered by a kamehame blast, and just waits til they hit the ground. Tenshinhan was supposed to hit the ground first, but Goku bounces off a car and hits the ground first, so he looses. He permanently joins the Z team upon the arrival of Piccolo Daimaoh.
This little bald-headed kid is Tenshinhan's best friend and protegé. He's tiny, but powerful, although after some time he can't reach the other Z warrior's level. This is because, for some reason still unknown to urs truly, Chaoz is the Eternal Child. He's old as a rock, but he doesn't age, or grow up or mature... nor become any more powerful. Once he reaches his limit, he just develops more efficient techniques. Chaoz

Piccolo/Kamisama

Without a doubt, Piccolo is the series' most complicated and interesting character. The warrior now known as Piccolo is actually 3 people fused into one. At the beggining, Piccolo was one original being: an alien -like Goku- from Nameckusei. His spaceship crashed on Earth hundreds of years ago, when he was only a child, and he lost all memories of his past. Being a pure Nameck warrior, he possesed a natural instinct for battle, so he developed his own martial arts style. After some decades of living in the lonelyness of Yunzabit, the valley where he crashed, Piccolo (wich is not his real name, since he forgot it too. Piccolo means "From Another Planet" in Namecku) decided to go sightseeing and see the world. During his travels he learned about the legend of Kamisama, the Earth's protector. He made it to the Temple and asked the current Kamisama to let him be his succesor. kamisama then explained to him that in order to become the new God, he had to expell all evuil from hi heart. After years of practice he finally managed to do it, and from that pure, condensed evil, Piccolo Daimaoh was born. Despite being separated, Kamisama and Piccolo were stillone individual, so if one dies, they both die.
Piccolo Daimaoh then goes out to conquer the world. In his first attempt, he faces young masters Roshi and Tsuru, and their master, Mutaito-san. After years of war, Mutaito develops his ultimate special technique, the Mafuuba, designed to trap demons. Mutaito manages to lock Piccolo Daimaoh inside a rice pot, but dies right after, leaving Roshi as the only witness. A few more centuries had to pass before Piccolo Daimaoh could terrorize the world. This time, the elderly Piccolo was freed form his prison by Pilaf, hoping he would kill Goku and give him a piece of the world for helping him out. Piccolo gathers the 7 Dragon Balls, wishes for eternal youth, the kills Shen Long, betrays Pilaf and takes over the world. Aftyer a few days, Goku, who drank the Water of the Gods at Karin's Tower, shows up to fight him. After defeating Piccolo's demons and a lond and hard battle (one of the best ever in the DB/Dbz series), Goku finally kills Piccolo. Before dying, Piccolo spits out an egg that contains all his hate and power, not to mention his re-incarnation, and explodes. By doing this, he un-knowingly lets Kamisama live. When goku climbs up tothe Temple to bring Shen Long back to life, Kamisama explains everything and offers to train Goku to fight this new Piccolo in the next tournament.
During the next Tournament, Goku and Ma Jr. (who is at the same time the re-incarnation of Piccolo Daimaoh and himself) hold a long battle, ending in the long awaited victory of Goku. Against all expectaions, Goku spares Piccolo, and lets him run away. In DBZ, Goku and Piccolo are forced to fight along side against Goku's older brother, Radditz. Piccolo kills'em both, and then kidnaps Gohan to train him after seing his tremendous potential. His original plans were to raise Gohan to hate Goku, but he evenytually develops a paternal love for Gohan and turns good. Piccolo dies for saving Gohan from Nappa's attack. During Freeza's Saba, Piccolo fuses with a fellow Nameck who looks disturbing ly like him, Nail, and gains a tremendous power-up. He becomes just a little more powerful than Freeza level 2, but still not as strong as level 3. During the Androids' Saga, Piccolo is forced to fuse back with Kamisama, becoming, one again, himself.
Son Gohan is Goku and Chichi's first son. Ever since he was a little kid he showed great abbilities and strenght, supposedely a product of his 50% Saiyajin - 50% human DNA that makes an explosive combination. He destroys Cell and contributes to the destruction of Majin-Buu. Plus, just to kill time, he teaches martial arts to Trunks and his little brother, Goten. Eventually he marries Videl, Mr. Satan's little girl, and has a daughter, Pan; the star of Dragon Ball GT. He also becomes a world-renowed doctor. Gohan
