Vegeta![]() |
He's the Saiyajin prince and the most powerful warrior of his race. He's also the last survivor of the planet Vejjit, named after his father. His world and people were destroyed by Freeza. He's a ruthless, blood-thristy warrior, whose only ambition is to become the strongest warrior in the Universe. At first he worked for Freeza conquering planets, with the purpose of killing him from the inside. He fights Goku and looses, but is forced to join the Z team to battle Freeza at Nameckusei. Once Trunks arrives from the futere he softens a little, knowing that he has a son, and becomes a permanent member of the Z team. Later, he has a daughter with Bulma, Bra. |
North Kaioshin, or simply King Kai was Goku trainer in the Afterworld. Kamisama sent Goku to train under Kai to prepare for his upcoming showdown with Vegeta. He lives in this tiny little planet with a gravity 10 times greater than the Earth's. He never actually fights, but is respected throughout the Afterworld for training some of it's greates fighters. The basis of his training method are rather stupid. In order to get him to train someone, that someone had to tell him a really good joke... even so, he's got some of the most powerful techniques in the series, namely the Kaioken and the Genkidama. He also has graet telepathic abbilities, that allow him to communicate with anybody, dead or alive, or amplify anybody's mental powers just by placing his hand on Kaio's back and concentrating. During the Cell Game, Goku is forced to teleport Cell to Kaio's planet so he wouldn't destroy the Earth with his Shibaku, the self-destruction technique. Cell explodes, and Kaio, his 2 pets Bubbles and Gregory and Goku die, and Kaio becomes his colleagues laughingstock | North Kaioshin (King Kai)![]() |
Dende![]() |
Dende's that little Nameck-seijin that befriended Krilin and Gohan during the Freeza Saga. He's incredibly powerful, though not a warrior, but a healer and wiseman. He can heal the fighters' wounds and sinthetize matter at will. After Piccolo fused back again with Kamisama, Dende is invited by Goku to become the Earth's new Kamisama. Dende revives Shen Long and gives him a huge power up. Dende grows taller thru the series, but he never gets to be as tall as Piccolo. |

Trunks is Vegeta and Bulma's grown son that came back from the future. In his own timeline, the world was taken over by Dr. Gero's androids after Goku dies of a strange heart disease. He came back in a time machine built his mom to give Goku the medicine he needed to survive. Since the time machine was just a prototype, it didn't work exactly as Bulma intended it for. He does travel in time, but everytime he does, a new timeline is created, so his future can't be changed completely. He came back with a bang, destroying Freeza and his father in a matter of seconds (and Goku defeats him with just one finger) Thanx to him, Vegeta becomes more sociable. Chibbi Trunks Trunks' younger self is nothing like the grown version. He's a rude, spoiled, rich brat, because Bulma indulged him too much. He's Goten's best friend. He even fuses with him into Gotenks. He's also one of the main characters of Dragon Ball GT. |

Goten is Goku and Chichi's second son (but Goku didn't know he had him, since he was dead for the first 7 years in Goten's life. Aparently Chichi was pregnant during the Cell game), and suposedly even stronger than him. He becomes Trunks' inseparable friend. He learned how to fight training under Gohan's orders, and looks up to Gohan as his substitute father. As u can see, he's just a clone of our hero, but when he grows up he looks totally different. At the Tenka-ichi where Majin Buu appeared, he and Chibbi Trunks knocked out a contestant and took his place to fight in the grown-ups' tournament. |
Mr. Satan, wind bag extraordinàire, is the filthiest liar ever born on the face of the planet. He's a martial artist, but with no special powers or habilities. When Cell is destroyed, he takes credit for it and is considered the Earth's most powerful man, title he retains for a long time cheating and bribing. At the 25th Tenka-ichi Budoukai he only has to fight at the finals, and the only warrior left was C18, so he pays her an ass-load of money to let him win. He's had several important contributions to the story, though. The first one was to get C16's head close to Gohan so 16 would encourage him to fight Cell. After that, brought out the good in Majin Boo and became his best friend (although that caused him to split in 2). Mr. Satan retained his title as the World's Strongets man because the champion only has to fight at the finals, and at every tournament Buu was the runner up, so he let him win. When he got old, he passed the title over to Oob, the re-incarnation of th evil Boo turned good. |
