This 35-part TVB drama made in 1994 with Julian Cheung Chi Lam and Athena Chu Yan ( 朱茵 ) as Guo Jing and Huang Rong ( 黃容 ) , the first pair of lovers in the Condor series. The story begins in the Song Dynasty where the country was in chaos. The first generation of the Guo and Yong families are wiped out leaving behind their offsprings to fend for themselves and this later leads to unreconciled relations between the two generations.

Julian Cheung is aptly cast as the honest and chivalrous Guo Jing who grows up as an orphan in the desert. He is the disciple of the Seven Strangers from Jiangnan and later he gets to master more martial skills from different pugilists. One day he meets Huang Rong (Athena), a wilful yet lovely young girl and they soon fall in love with each other.

On the other hand, Yong's offspring Yong Heng (Lo Ka Leung) is adopted by General Hong Lie and has become a prince. Heng finds out to his horror that Hong is the one who killed his father. However, Heng has no wish to seek revenge as he has gotten used to enjoying his noble status and he is one who covets for wealth and power. When he learns that Jing has the sacred manuals to help one become invincible, he tries all means to harm the righteous young man.

Anyway, it is impossible to summarise what the show is about in this short synopsis..just go watch it if you are a true-blue Athena fan.

I think this is quite a weak synopsis..but I don't have time to write a good one and this is really not the important part right?..will try to improve on this if I have the time..meanwhile try not to flame me for writing this crap..besides I didn't really write it..copied it from somewhere..:-)
