Hocking Depression 8.5 inch EAPC Look Alike Emerald Green or Crystal Vases

This impressive design was made by Hocking Glass of vibrant Emerald Green or Crystal Clear glass. The pattern is called "Early American Press Cut Look alike", because it was made in the style of the Press Cut glass of the 1800's, but this lovely piece was made sometime in the 1930's.

With four large panels of alternating Star and Zipper cuts, it certainly lives up to the name.

8-5/16 inches tall.
5-9/16 diameter at the rim.
3-1/2 inches across the base.
2 pounds 3.2 ounces in weight.

Under our Ultraviolet lamp there is no glow at all for long wave illumination, and only a weak yellow glow under short wave, which indicates the glass was made according to a pre-WWII formula.

These vases are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, roughness or apparent wear. We have one in green and one in Crystal.
