Here is a lovely matched pair of a Petal Swirl pattern crystal serving bowls, used for condiments, relishes, candies, etc and a matching candleholder.
This substantial, yet graceful, Petal Swirl pattern was introduced by Mikasa's in the 1970's and made into the 1990's.
Petal Swirl complements many other makers styles such as: Swirled Plume, Cambridge Caprice, Fostoria Colony, and others.
The extremely clear crystal glass rings nicely, indicating lead content, which gives greater clarity. The age is further confirmed by the soft yellow glow under long wave Ultraviolet light, and the white glow under short wave UV.
Both items are in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
