ANNOUNCEMENTS
February 27
One of the other American competitors has withdrawn from the American Cup, so we now get to send three competitors! Jessica Atler, Kayla Coolmen, and Dominique Miller will represent the United States along with Natalie Korman of Texax Flyers. Good luck ladies!
Results of both the American Cup and today's podium meet will be posted shortly.
February 26
The tri-meet results are completely posted. Congratulations on a big win, ladies!
The national podium meet and American Cup are coming up this weekend. We will have two competitors in the American Cup; all other active gymnasts will compete at the podium meet on Friday. Assignments will be announced tonight or tomorrow.
February 25
I'm only two days behind, but to make sure things don't get out of hand again, please do only one form today (TUESDAY) and tomorrow (WEDNESDAY).
Results of the tri-meet are being posted here.
February 20
The three-way meet in Indianapolis has been rescheduled for Sunday. We'll send our top six as of 2/19, with Coach Soyon:
Atler, Coolmen, Melinskova, Miller, Torrence, and Yim
Squads Alive Final
February 18
Squads Alive Day One!
There are brief notes from Coach Dan for the Tiger Squad.
I've posted new rankings, but Day Two of Squads Alive will be scored using rankings from the 20+ days I was behind.
The slacking is over- you can now receive credit for both a workout and journal entry each day (if you wish).
February 17
Mini Squads Alive begins TODAY with Lilly versus Tiger, and then Pop versus Opilly. The winning squads will compete tomorrow.
February 5
As I plow through the emails I've been neglecting, I'll post rankings occassionally so you can see how I am (or not) progressing.
The Squads Alive meets will be held as soon as I get caught up, hopefully by the weekend or early next week.
February 3
That point where I'm hopelessly behind has been hit. I still think I can make this work, though, I just need a few days to get caught up and maybe make a few changes. The schedule has been thinned out a bit, and may be thinned out even more. I'd rather have fewer meets, and more time to actually do those few meets really well. Fewer meets will also allow for more coach/gymnast interaction in the form of coaches notes and such.
Now to rehash an old plea...if you have more than one Topo gymnast, please, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND MY SANITY, move one somewhere else (Cascade, Endo, Vega...there are lots of choices; email me if you want some addresses). I'm not going to call anyone out on this because of the possibility that the identical i.p. addresses are coincidence, you're using AOL, or actually are just cousins/sisters/friends/dwellers of the same community. If you insist on having two, okay, do so, I'm not going to go psycho and become a crazed i.p. police. Just beware that you're making it that much harder for me to keep Topo caught up.
