91st TORONTO CUB PACKNEWSLETTERTuesday, October 25th, 2005 INVESTITURE: Next Tuesday, November 1st. At Bowmore. This is the night when our new Cubs receive their 91st “colours” and Cub insignia badges for their shirts. If all goes according to plan, this will also be the night where we announce the Sixers and Seconds and assign Six colours to our Sixes. Families are welcome to attend this important ceremony (bring your cameras). Light refreshments will be provided. The 91st Beaver Colony will be joining us as they invest their first-year Beavers. REMEMBRANCE DAY OBSERVANCE: Tuesday, November 8th. We will be having a guest speaker for this evening. A war veteran will be visiting with us, sharing some of his experiences, etc. We will also have on a display an historical piece relating to WWII, that belongs to the 91st Scouting Group. BADGE WORK AT TORONTO ZOO: Sunday, November 27th. This is something new that we are trying this year. We will spend the afternoon at the Toronto Zoo, during which time the Cubs will earn their World Conservation badge. Instruction will be provided by staff at the Zoo. Further details to follow regarding this exciting adventure.
