Tour Policies and Conditions

 


The terms of the trip package include the following:

Roundtrip Airfare from San Francisco to Mexico City.

Chartered ground trasportation in Mini Van, including from and to airport.

Hotel accomodations based on double or triple occupancy.

Two bilingual, full-time tour directors.

Entrance fees to Teotihuacan, El Tajin archeological sites and Anthropology Museum in Jalapa Veracruz.

A special departure meal courtesy of Magdalena Fernandez.


The terms of the package specifically do not include the following:

Entrance fees for museums and archelogical sites, except for those specified.

Airline Taxes not included in the fare.

All meals, drinks and entertainment, except for those specified.

All tips and gratuities in hotels and restaurants.

Travel insurance and personal expenses

Departure taxes.
 

Totonaca Tours is not responsible for the costs due to the following:

Arranging transportation, accommodations, and services not offered in the agreement, provided that lacking negligence of the part of the Operator(s), Any assumption of liability for any personal injury or property damage arising out of or caused by any hotel, transportation carrier, or anyone rendering any of the services or accommodations being offered in connection with the tour package. Any losses or expenses due to delay or change in schedules, overbooking of hotels, default of third parties, weather, strikes, acts of God, force majeure, war, quarantine or any other cause beyond its control.The event that you miss your flights or tours due to weather, other delays, or late arrival of your flight. Tour participants purchasing air transportation for these tour packages assume total responsibility and liability in all events. Loss of any part of the package due to problems relating to improper immigration documentation. All tour participants are responsable for arranging proper documentation prior to arrivial in Mexico. Participants who are detained by officials in violation of Mexican Law.

   

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Cancellation charges are dependent on the length of time before departureand the timeliness of a written cancellation notice received by Totonac Tours. All cancellations must be sent in writing to our mailing address or via electronic mail. The following
cancellation charges apply:

- 31 days or more before departure $100 per person.

- 30 days or less, the full package price is non refundable.

- Airfare penalties may be additional and the responsability of participant.

- A change of dates or reduction of travelers is considered a cancellation.
   
Cost of Tour
The cost of the tour is $1,300 US. This price reflects the items mentioned above. A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 per passenger is required at the time of booking. Full payment is due at least 30 days prior to departure, or immediately if reserving within 30 days. In the event that any payment becomes overdue Totonaca Tours reserves the right to cancel any space reserved without notice. Insufficient funds checks will require a $30.00 charge. All checks will be payable to Totonaca Tours.
