I: Alright, today I'd like to interview Hide-san, since last year until Tokyo Dome'94 Concert which just passed.
H: Did everyone in X-Japan give an interview?

I: Yes, only you left.
H: Do Oshima-san interview all of them?

I: Yes.
H: Well, can I give the personal not long interview? (laugh)

I: Of course not.
H: I'm afraid my words are not the same as the other 4, so it won't be good.(laugh) Sometime I read an interview of my friends and then, "Hey, there's such a thing?"

I: If this is X-Japan, there's nothing strange. By the way, to use the "Blue Night" and "White Night" to the title of the concert, they are...
H: In that time, everyone stayed in L.A., we plan to talk to each another.

I: It's Yoshiki's thought?
H: Right, eventhough we did the somethings in the both two days. Each day,I wanted they're different, I felt that the 31th is more fun. If there're two days of concert, I thinkthe 3nd day is more fun. I don't want it be like that. "Blue night" and "White Night" have a meaning in itself. I think Yoshiki has just said We are X nowadays because "Blue Blood", or in all of every colors, the blue gives an image which's obvious and strong. So it makesme feel "forget all the stories, start a good new feeling." These words I adapted from Yoshiki's. Ha ha ha

I: In two days, have a changing in songs order?
H: I still thought that 'It should not be the same'. Yoshiki said that the 1st day let us play "X" at first and I agree. We frequently confer to each another but didn't have a good idea.

I: Seem like you are the band that always has a conference.
H: we always have a conference and it deeps in details. We spend a lot of times ti have a conclusion. (laugh)

I: Agter giveing interviews to the mass medias, it's time to record "Longing"?
H: Yeah!! I've get the demo tape when Yoshiki's back from L.A. after that, I wrote my guitar part when we record it.

I: Do you make something differnet from demo tape?
H: No There's nothing change. Just only merrier feeling and thenused computer to help. When finished, we took it to studio. Spent the time less than the normal of we.

I: If do it as you use to do, it's a rough going.
H: When recording, it used to be a cassett tape so the sound not good, but we can't do anything. Eventhought we recorded as the same as we do. the sound is still bad, can't do anything. We always put Yoshiki's count in the first part but nothing is better. Yoshiki count one, two, three, his sound is so light, we almost can't hear.

I:On B side can hear Yoshiki count.
H: On B side we sticked the microphone on the ceiling then record. It's really a demo tape!!

I: It'a quite trouble on B side.
H: You think so? There're 2 songs we played in Tokyo Dome which we're not finished the recording. And my song didn't put the words in.

I: So Toshi sang "monyo monyo"
H: He can sang this song in Tokyo Dome but because when recorsing this song, the words unfinished, so Toshi sang "monyo monyo" and already put "Break the Darkness" in.

I: "I'll kill you" was included on B side too, right?
H: Yeah. Yeah. This story, nobody knows (laugh), When I'm a new one of X, this song is my favorite. And I put it in the 'Heavy Metal Force III' album. I think it's a strange song. When I'm in Saber Tiger and heard this song, I thought "Hey! What's a strange song". I like it the most.

I: When finished the demo, you started the practice.
H: We planned to do it but didn't do. So this concert in Tokyo Dome, there's several songs we played by no practice.

I: I heard that on December 29, Yoshiki was injured.
H: Yea. Yeah, so all the members can't practice. In that day everything is OK, time schedul is OK, Yoshiki's so lively and the practice atmosphere is good. When I'm finising my solo corner practice, I'm back to the dressing room, plan to havesomething to eat, watch TV, Suddenly, Toshi ran in and said "Yoshiki fell of the stage!!!" (fell in the large hold on the stage)

I: What do you feel at that time?
H: I'm shocked by Toshi's face the first. (laught) If it's the other event, I'm not shocked but if ti's an accident like this, I'm shocked.

I: What's going on about the concert you think?
H: I don't know. But if his arm's broken, nothing can do, can't perform the concert. But it's not the time to complain, nothing to do is nothing to do.

I: When Yoshiki recovered, you began the practice.
H: sould be like that but seem like he's still so painful, finally we didn't have the practice, then we continued it on 30th. On 29th, I'm so excite, serious 'til I can't sleep, such like before my concert. But this time I'm not the vocalist, only play guitar, though I can't sleep. Ane when I can't sleep, I feel moody.

I: Do you have a practice on 30th?
H: Yes, a little.

I: Opening the stage this time didn't use 'World Anthem' but use 'Amethyst?
H: I bored opening the stage with 'World Anthem' Ha ha ha. So we'd findthe proper songs but not exactlyindicate which one. In fact, I really love Yoshiki's drum solo song last year but after that I forgot it. But when Iwe went to 'Korakuenyuenji' fun park and hear this song again., I can recognize "Ah, this song...", then I ask "Eh, this song is..." They said "It's Yoshiki's" So we decided to use this song on opening. This song quite speedy, you know. Seem like Yoshiki thought a lot and got a lot of ideas. When this song's begun, the curtains opened, then an echo hoarse sound of a man called "Masa fucker" "Pata" but this time use woman's sound.

I: It's so dark on the stage, when the smoke was going up so you din't know where's your friends.
H: Never mind, because every knew what he should do.

I: The impression to play "X" the first song?
H:Really good, but tuning around 16 measure are overlap, who's playing wrong, nobody knew. Bass, guitar noisy play. That time I tought we must played the speedy song before forgot it. Ha ha.. then began the new one.

I: "Scar on Melode" is Hide's song?
H: You know it! Ha ha.. This song I do its melody myself and it's too low key. On demo tape, I' vocal too. I want the overlap of guitar sound and not change the key of it.

I: Do you think Toshi will sing by that key sound.
H: For the first time, T can't imagine hoe Toshi sins. the time we stayed in L.A., Toshi sangseveral times, and we try to change its key several times too. Finally we chose Toshi sang in that low key, seem to be better. Still don't know how it be when put it in the album.

I: I heard that the new song which play in Tokyo Dome still unfinished.
H: Yeah, I think it's totally different frome mine. My song 50% finished but I'm in a quickly boring though they're finished, I may do something and add in it. About Yoshiki's maybe change again.

I: "Dahlia" oh Yoshiki unfinished yet, so quite difficult.
H: Yeah!! On 27th we worried about "write the words or practice then drum" to do which one is better?

I: When finishing the new song, there're only solo coners of each members.,,
H: As the same. This year we didn't know what to do, how to say, I don't know but when we practice at the studio, there's a lot of strange insruments such like violin. Ha ha... Heath bass solo too, I dont knowwhat the planning to do.

I: Just know in the real play.
H: Yeah, first know in the dressing room. So nobodyknow solo corners af each another. I am "Hey what did they do?". cause I first saw, so fun. Maybe I feel the same as our fans. Ha ha ha

I: This is solo corner perform with Pata?
H: Such like, it's there's Hamade, there's Matsumoto. These two guys give a feeling 'down town' (laugh) Because Pata didn't want his solo corner, so I said "Everybody play this, just play together" The first day I playd "Draw the Line" of Aerosmith and the second solo "Celebration". Different song in this two days
