Once we receive our referral we will anxiously wait to be "invited" by the Chinese government to come a pick up our daughter. This will take approximately four weeks. After we are invited to travel we will busily prepare; visa appointments, travel arrangements, and packing. We will probably have a baby shower in there for some fun, too!

First, we will spend about three days in Beijing doing some sightseeing and getting over our jet lag. Then we will meet our daughter, probably in Nanchang - the capital of Jiangxi Province. She will spend the remainder of the trip in our care. It is likely that we will spend time in the province where she is from and also Guangzhou where the U.S. consulate resides. The trip will probably take about 14 days including travel time.

When we arrive home, she will be a US citizen.

**UPDATE** - We have our Travel Approval and Consulate Appointment- this is what we know so far.

Depart for China: February 14th
Arrive in Beijing: February 15th
Beijing Sightseeing: February 15-18th
Arrive in Nanchang: February 19th [This is when we get Addison!!!]
Consulate Appointment in Guangzhou: February 23rd
Pick Up Addison's Visa: February 24th
Arrive in Hong Kong: February 25th
Depart for Home: February 26th
